((Lil will come up with a fantastic entrance post when her internet is back in full swing. Until then, use your imagination! It's a crimson and black club with a masquerade ball theme! Anyone who has an official character [even if they aren't finished yet] and anyone who has sent in their trade for a guest pass may participate!
Hosts can set up their individual threads when they are ready and the host auction will start on Monday if lil's internet returns.
Have fun everyone!))

Mori stood near the sleek bar, completely ignoring the fact that she shouldn't be there, with a small black book open in front of her. She didn't think there would be problems, but a nice foreboding presence ought to help any pending matters considerably anyway. So she scowled (like she normally did, actually, so that wasn't a big change) and generally looked mysterious and dark.
Of course, there were the two bartenders actually in the bar. The man helped, really- he didn't look like a particularly friendly sort- but then the woman just screwed it all up. "********," she said, barely a breath of air as she watched the customers file in and spread towards the hosts (rather like milk spilled on a table, but she wasn't be paid to think like a pansy, was she?). No, not expecting problems, but still.
From behind her black and red mask, she scowled particularly hard at her co-worker.

Stanzi suppressed a sigh for not the first time that evening and adjusted the silver and grey mask on her face. Pesky thing. It was hard to see across the room, let alone measure the ingredients she was putting into a drink while wearing the tiresome adornment. But... a job was a job, especially one that offered room and board.
She had to admit, the club was pretty splendid, with all she could ever hope for, bar wise. And she also had to admit that she had never seen so many good looking men in one place before. It was them that she looked at now, admiring the clean cut suits as she fingered the hem of her silver dress.
That was the one thing she was happy about. She had found the vintage creation in a boutique and spent several paychecks obtaining it, and she finally had a place to wear it. An antique ruby necklace and earrings held the necessary red colors for the evening. Stanzi was happy Searan hadn't demanded a red dress. It was not a flattering color against her reddish hair.
Stanzi's gaze drifted over to the figure at the end of the bar. She was a bouncer, Stanzi thought, scrambling to remember all of the staff's names and positions. Yes, a bouncer. And underage. And not supposed to be near the bar. And scowling at Stanzi. The bartender sighed audibly. It was her first day on the job and already she was getting dirty looks.
Room and board, she reminded herself. Room and board.

"Do you have something to say?"
No, it probably wasn't a good idea to pick fights with her co-workers in the middle of the opening event. Hey, she reasoned, obviously the bartender girl was old enough to know better if she could work at the bar. It certainly wasn't quiet enough for the lady to delude herself into thinking Moriah hadn't heard. (Was that aunt Hae-min she saw walking in with Uncle Tae-yul? Bah, wasn't worth thinking about.)
She frowned again, but this time at her book. It was so dim in the club- the way the owner liked it, she guessed (without particularly caring a whit)- that she couldn't properly see the words. Not like she wasn't doing her job, and watching for disturbances. She was totally on it. Really.

Stanzi's eyebrow went up at the girl's words. That was.... forward. She was surprised that the girl seemed to think Stanzi had something to say while it was the girl herself who had been staring at her.
She shrugged her shoulders with nonchalance, her bright blue eyes bored. "No, not really. Save that your eye doctor wouldn't approve you reading in this light."
And if you try to get a drink, I'll kick your underage butt out the door myself, she added silently. She didn't want to get in trouble for serving alcohol to a minor, but nor did she wish to start a fight. Especially while wearing a vintage couture dress and Jimmy Choos. Cheap, clearance Jimmy Choos, but worth keeping out of a scuffle.
With that, Stanzi returned her gaze to the hosts and the customers, guessing the drinks each would order. She had a knack for it, and guess right rather often.

"My eye doctor is in Moscow and doesn't need to know," she said archly, putting the book down on the counter with a loud thump. Nothing she could really get mad about in that statement, which was a shame, because Mori was rather fond of being snappish and angry. "What's your name?" Actually, she really did want to know. Most people, when Mori bit off their face, bit back. But not this lady, and that made the bouncer really curious.
"Nice dress," she added, feeling a bit more charitable. She didn't really like it- dresses were, well, for girls.

Stanzi waited for the explosion, but surprisingly, it didn't happen. Instead, she was asked about her name. And complimented on her choice of apparel. Not one to be uncharitable, Stanzi smiled, her gaze now friendly.
"Thank you. It's a favorite of mine. I'm Stanzi Wheeler, the new bartender."
She held out her hand to shake, a ritual that had been ingrained in her since childhood.
"And you are?"

"We're all new," said Mori flatly, shaking her new acquaintance's hand. Her leather gloves were rather frigid, and her grip quite strong. Well, it would have to be- she was a bouncer, after all. "My name is Moriah, but call me Mori." Moriah, she added silently, sounds like some kind of girly-girl with her hair in cute curly little perfect pigtails. She'd been dressed like that once, and hated it. The fewer reminders that existed to force her to remember that time, the better.
"Certainly seems quite a bit quieter than I expected," she muttered, one hand curling around the edges of the mask.

It was an understatement to say that Nox was busy, because being busy implied that he'd actually have time to think about what it was that he was doing in an orderly fashion. As it was he was running around behind the scenes and out of the customers sight, fixing this and tinkering with that. All of which needed to be in top working order hours ago.
How he wished his brother was around, simply so he could accuse him of working his special voodoo brotherly love magic to make everything seem to go wrong right when it didn't need to. But of course, Illumi had managed to get away scott free seeing as how he had a class at the moment, and wouldn't be getting out until later. Which suited both of them just fine.
Currently Nox was trying his hardest to resist the urge to rip the elegant silver, black, and red mask off of his face. One of the reasons why he got contacts instead of glasses was because he actually enjoyed seeing the world in an 180 degree angle. Or as much of it as he could considering he sent most of his day with his head buried in this or that.
"Stupid forsaken mask!" He grumbled, adjusting it to the upteenth time that evening as he made his way through the crowd of customers. One hand hovered over his tool belt. The last thing he needed was for someone to get hurt because they'd brushed against him.
The only reason why he currently was in firing range of the well-to-do was because he'd been told that there was something that needed to be fixed at the bar. The bar that he'd been puttering around two hours before, fixing the lights by swapping out the high powered ones for something that would give it a softer tone. So it was with a scowl on his face that he slipped up to the two women talking by the bar.
"I heard that there was something here that needed to be fixed?"

"No," said Moriah, who was in a position to know as she had been watching it since the last time he'd been there. Must have been at least two hours ago, she thought, but wasn't sure, as she hadn't really bothered to pay attention to staff. After all, she could hardly kick them out. "Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but someone's screwing with your head, wrench-monkey."

Nox snorted, ignoring the wrench-monkey comment. Illumi dished out worse on a daily basis. "Well I agree that someone has a screw loose, but it isn't me. I can't fix that type of damage." He was a do-it-all repair man, not a psychiatrist. "Though I'm glad someone is getting a kick out of watching me run around."
He leaned against the bar, taking the moment for a breather. If he were a smoker he'd probably be craving that sweet sweet nicotine right about now. "I'm Nox. What do you ladies think about opening day?" He gestured towards the still steady flow of people. "How many do you think will return?"

Stanzi had been about to reply when the handyman appeared, inquiring about something needing to be fixed. She frowned, knowing of nothing that needed attending, and was about to say as much when Mori decided to answer with a biting retort.
Stanzi's eyebrow twitched and she supressed another sigh, praying that there wouldn't be a fight. She couldn't handle a fight. Especially when the one who would be in charge of breaking up said fight was a participant. Luckily, Nox took it all in stride. She smiled pleasantly at him, her bright blue eyes showing already a slight weariness for the whole affair.
"Seems like we should get a pretty nice turnout. And I imagine quite a few return. You have seen the hosts, haven't you?" she said dryly.
Sure, they weren't the only gorgeous men the world had to offer, but to have such a nice bunch in one handy little spot... She was pretty sure there'd be some repeat customers.
"Oh, and I'm Stanzi. It's a pleasure to meet you, Nox."

"Most of them," she said. "Except for the ones who go see that redhead." Actually she did know the name of the redheaded host. Rose. A silly, girly name that Moriah totally did not approve of. She was of the opinion that he was the height of inanity. But no one was asking her.

"Hm." Nox hummed, "I haven't actually had the pleasure of personally meeting the hosts. I only know their faces and vaguely recall their names." He gestured with a hand at the hosts that were already set up. "I've been too busy fixing the things that my brother likes to break."
Of course Nox knew that Illumi couldn't have broken everything that was left around to keep him busy, but it was nice laying the blame on him anyway.

With a snort, she said, "There's no way your brother could be responsible for everything." She would have tossed her hair, if she had had any- the short cut was fairly recent, and looked very good on her. Much better than the curls she used to sport, anyway.
"Well. The redhead is Rose. The white-haired one is Thanatos. The dark-haired one is Brad, and the one with purple hair is Cada." She waved one hand through the air- she didn't care about any of this, really, she was just blessed with a good memory for names and faces. (That's what she told herself, anyway.) "There are some who got sick and couldn't work tonight." There was some sort of fever, or something. Mori counted herself lucky she'd missed the flu or whatever it was, since this way she could get a grip on what working would mean on a busy night.
