As I'm sure you all have noticed, I have deleted all of the rps that were currently here. I apologize if you were still active, but I had no way of knowing what was still going and what was not.
Since I was unable to keep up with the character posts once I entered college, I am revamping how the rp forum works. I am no longer going to be requiring pre-approved character profiles and ships. I am also going to allow anyone who wants to to play as the main firefly cast.
As well, I will be creating a sticky thread where you all can coordinate for one-on-one rps through PMs or messengers, as well as one to coordinate rp threads in this forum.
There will be a new rules page, but I am leaving the character art, anyone is free to post there. I will also be keeping the firefly layout up for everyone's reference. Please bear with me though. I probably will not get to the new rules page tonight. I will set up the one-on-one rp thread, but I ask that you do not post new forum rps until I revamp the rules. I promise to do so within this next week.
I again apologize for neglecting my mod duties. I am slowly realizing what it means to be an adult, and you have to work before you can play.
My computer time is further limited having to share the family machine with the family, and since I am without air conditioning, it is turned off through the hottest part of the day. Then my brother jumps on, and I'm lucky to have a half hour to check my mail before it goes off at midnight, a rule set in place to keep him from playing and IMing until 3am.
So bear with me. I will have the new rules posted soon.
