Cada was content with his style of dress, complete with a flashy Mardi Gra inspired mask. He'd taken his time dressing himself for the days events. Dawning a crisp white long sleeve shirt, worn under a red with gold embroidered Renaissance inspired vest and simple white dress pants with red heeled boots to complete the look. His hair was brushed back to fall off his shoulders in a layered heap. His trusty plush, Mr. Happy was dressed in a matching red vest with gold embroidery along with his white top hat with red and gold trimming. He also wore a miniature mask that matched Cada's.
Sitting idly at his table, Cada was playing a hand held game he brought with him for those boring intervals when people weren't around. A Nintendo DS with the current Zelda installment put a smile to the man's face as he lounged casually. He had already taken a look around, noting the popular host already with a slew of people swarming his table, the cowboy host taking meager sips of his tea and the one host he had not met looked about as bored as Cada felt. He looked around again but didn't see the blond German host, probably running a bit late or preening himself longer than necessary. The Effervescent host giggled at this.
To be honest he didn't expect much of a showing at his table. Maybe a curious customer or two but they would all grow perplexed at his antics before any real introductions took place so the DS would come in handy once he cleared his table again. Although he couldn't help looking around for his favorite stray who was eager to pamper and lavish with kisses. "Wonder what he's wearing.." he muttered while tinkering with the game absentmindedly.

Solia had no idea of really what to do. She saw Brad and a crowd. 'Best to let him be' She thought. that man seemed to be occupied anyway. Xan seemed to be busy with...who was she...'Mihn...wasn't it?' Ah well, Solia shrugged. She knew little of Rose, and the German host she had but meet in passing, Gunner, was no where in sight! Her eyes scanned the area. And fell upon a grown man with such vibrant hair! She had never meet him before, and she was sure she had never heard of him. However he was at a host table. She made her way over to him, and saw him playing a DS. "Excuse me, but, might I ask what you're playing?" Yes, Solia was masterful at conversation starters.

Cada had been deep into his game by now, realizing the festivities were well underway at another table. He chuckled quite pleased things were slow for him. More time to level up to save the young pirate princess. As he continued going through the levels a shadow fell over his game to which he looked up at the sound of the pretty voice.
With a few seconds he just blinked at the woman as if to get a feel for her but soon he jumped up giving a deep bow. At her question he looked at the game then back at her. A cheerful blush running along his dark cheeks. "Ohh this is Zelda, the Phantom Hourglass. It's quite fun..." Holding the game to her smiled. "Would you like to give it a try?" It was obvious he was not ashamed.

Solia was bewildered at the Host. He seemed...well, generally un-host like. "Oh, no thank you. I'm not a fan of the Zelda games as of late. I'm more of a Halo person myself." Did she just..yes, she had just said she was a video game junkie. Well...they did pass time on a slow day. "And don't you think Searan would be mad if he knew his host was playing games on the clock? I mean..my boss gets mad when I play Halo with the guys on business time." She realized that she was inadvertently criticizing him. "Not that he has to know of course." She winked.

Cada blinked at the woman then a slow smile crept along his face. He quickly turned off his game a bit upset that he hadn't saved up to that point but it was okay he'd just have more time to play later. Slipping the game in Mr. Happy's carrying pouch he set the toy back on the table bowing politely. "I imagine if Searan knew I was playing games on the clock I may get fired... but I also would imagine that he knew the kind of person I was when hiring me." He smiled his words not at all rude only stating facts. "The way I see it, not everyone can be serious and hardcore, you gotta have some fun in your life. That's where the effervescent host comes in..." Extending his hand he took Solia's kissing the back of it properly. "Cada Virile at your service ma'am. Is there anything I can get for you?" He easily slipped into a host like personality but there was always that twitch in the back of one's mind that he were laughing at them.

Solia gave the host her own curtsy. "I don't think, an all my life, I have ever heard a person describe themselves as 'effervescent'. From what I can recall in my chemistry class, effervescence is another way of saying 'bubbling' is it not? Or was is steaming..ah, well...I never did pass that class anyway." She waved her hand about, she never did like science. "I don't know what anyone can get me at this point. I'm honestly not quite sure what to really do." She laughed softly, skewing her mask. "Oh this blasted thing. it doesn't seem to want to stay on."

Cada merely giggled as the woman spoke his hand coming up to hide his cheerful smile. "I like to be different if I haven't already made that obvious." He cooed with a smile. "But I'm just like you chemistry wasn't my strongest point in class, math, biology, heck a lot of those classes bored me to s**t or at least were means for me to gain levels on my handheld of the time." He gave a short laugh but remained for the most part cheerful.
He peered at the woman from behind his mask, smiling softly as he moved forward slowly to touch her mask. He didn't remove it but helped to situate it better poking her masked forehead playfully. "There it should stay now.. if not you can wear mine. And we'll go out back and do a number on this one. Might be fun." He gave a soft laugh again frowning for a moment. "Hmm... well do you like sweet or sour drinks? I like sweets myself... oh!" He jumped up suddenly reaching under the table next to him where an empty seat rested. Pulling out a small box he set it on the table. "My favorite chocolates! Ferrero Rocher... they are soooo good. Please try some!"

A blush rose to Solia's cheek when Cada readjusted her mask. She wasn't used to such close contact. She was thankful however, that the mask hid most of her face. Watching Cada change subjects so quickly she giggled, enjoying the Host's spirited behavior. "It really depends on the day I suppose. A sweet drink might be good on a summer day, but, then, so is fresh, natural lemonade. But, it seems you already knew every woman's weakness, chocolate!" She smiled as she took one and ate it. "A bit too light for me. I prefer darker chocolate myself. Not because they are bitter, but the fact they have so much flavor. Thank you though. I'm just..well..I'm just a bit nervous is all. To tell you the truth, I don't know what goes on really at such an opening. All I know is that it is the chance we get to meet all of the Hosts at the same time, but, other than that, I'm afraid I am a bit clueless." She crossed her arms and began to look past Cada rather than at him.

Cada smiled plopping a chocolate in his mouth. He used that moment to let Solia speak while he enjoyed his treat. When he noticed her nervousness he looked to her with concern, a brush of seriousness washing over him. "Hmm?" He was however a bit confused. Yellow-green eyes moved to the other tables then back to his company. A sneaky smile on his face.
Stepping forward he leaned forward being mindful to keep his space and not to invade hers. "Well this is a masquerade. Which means there's plenty of dancing to be had..." Holding his hand out gave a soft wink. "Would you like to join me? And don't even think I'll take no for an answer. If you can't dance I'll teach you or you can step on my feet while I move us around..." He broke into a soft smile awaiting an answer.

Solia hated feeling so helpless. As confident as she was on the job, and with certain people, social events, hell, human interactions had never been her best subject. She took Cada's hand. "I can waltz and do a few other classical dances, though these days, dancing mainly consists of things reserved for closed doors." She shook her head. "If its true, classic dance you're offering, I'd be more than willing to take you up on the offer." She gave s curtsy to reemphasize her point.

Cada giggle taking her hand as he led her to the floor. "I don't know any other dance but classic. I could try break dancing but I think I'd reinvent the name literally to -break- dancing. Either breaking my neck or something in the room." He smiled bowing at the waist like a gentleman to match Solia as he took her hand and placed his hand at a comforting level at her hips. "What do you normally do?" He asked suddenly curious of the woman in his arms. "Your profession I mean?"

Matching Cada's footwork she let herself be lead by him, as a true dancer would. Blushing she wondered why men always asked what her job was. "I am a private bodyguard for hire both locally and internationally." She was thankful her mask was tight. "The main reason I've come here though is to gain people skills. Its easy to be intimidating and cold, but... I lack the proper people skills. I thought that perhaps the club would provide a way not only to escape the way men typically see me, but, to gain skills that aren't used on me job." What just happened? Why was she so talkative? Ah, well, thats what she got for drinking before she came.
