okay so... i was going to put his into the gsa forum, but i know many of you weren't going to see it...so i put it here... and here's the backstory... i am moving to live with my mother in tennessee around the middle of july. she is a lesbian who has a civil union with her partner *for those of you that don't know, a civil union is as close to a marrige as most lesbians and gays can get...* now i love her partner like another mother, but recently i have been hearing this debate a lot of places and i wanted to know what everyone else thought...

I don't really know enough about it to really have a strong opinion. I do know that not having parents of both genders can affect children mentally, but I don't know how serious it is or if it's enough of a reson to outlaw it all together. *shrugs*

this is a personal not for me because my only girl friend is a lesbian and i just hate to see her sad...but like everyone has the right to have a kid and the only reason that people dont want guys and lesbians to have kids is because they are homophobic...thats what i think

I also hate that my religion is against it too. And that people think that something is wrong with that person, just because they like the same gender instead of the opposite.
