Hi everyone, as you may know I invented the concept of RPing Eiichiro Oda's hint that there was an island full of Devil Fruit users. I thought up a good fan fiction involving the Straw Hat crew and others landing there and fighting for their lives for escape. Here are a few interesting things I decided to have in it:

The tribes are separated in a certain way; the Paramecians all live in a village up on a cliff that the jungle leads to. They are ruled by the (I forgot the third type of fruit, besides Zoan), who are the elders, seemingly immortal and VERY powerful. They've controlled the island for centuries, just the four of them. And on the other side of the island, living in caves and almost primally, are the Zoans, who are preparing a rebellion against the Paramecians for control of the island; they are ignorant of the truth behind the elders, as are the Paramecians.

Anyone who is found disloyal in any way to the elders is tossed into the 'inactive' volcano on the island, making a sacrifice to the lava god, and thereby giving the elders, who've sworn loyalty to it, eternal youth. No one leaves the island, not even visitors. That's the agreement made, and now Luffy and his crew, as well as others, are going to have to stop that from continuing. There is also a grand tournament held above the volcano when the elders capture everyone, and it's divided up into Devil Fruit users vs. Devil Fruit users, and non vs. non. So basically it would be Luffy vs. any of the islanders, and Zoro vs. Sanji or something. All losers...take a dive into the lava. Yeah. So someone has to shake things up, and Luffy's just the rubber man to do it.

Anyway, here's some suggestions for powers and things I thought of that are actually going to be in the fan fiction, and who they'd be used against.

Zoro vs. the invisible swordsman; actually a swordswoman, who can mysteriously cloak her sound as well. Turns out she's the Light element elder's daughter who can make light flow through her to make her invisible, and her special guardian at the Sound-Sound fruit, allowing him to make anything as loud or quiet as he wants, so he aids her against Zoro.
Usopp vs. Blink-Blink fruit; an archer, male or female (doesn't matter) who takes aim at Usopp from up on the cliff, as Usopp wanders through the jungle. The user has eagle-eye vision and can basically look at Usopp as though through a rifle scope, as well as having X-ray vision so they can see through the heavy brush and get a perfect shot at him. It'll be a tough fight for Usopp! I still don't know how I'm going to have him get out of that one. Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh wait, I just thought of something.
Snake-Snake fruit; I don't know who would fight them, but they're a Zoan who wears a big robe and looks really fat, but their body is just a bunch of coils under a big robe, and their hands and feet are all snapping snake heads. Very intimidating, powerful and dangerous.

That's about all I can think of right now; but I hope that helps you all RP it as best you can. Oh, and Smoker and Tashigi and Wapol are also in it; and Bon Clay, LOL.

Ah, yeah, I forgot. So in a future official RP, the Zoans will be separated from the Logia elders and the Paramecia villagers. Sorry if that's confusing but I'll make this work some damn how! And there'll be a lot of family drama going on between the villagers. Yeah. Be prepared for that.

Okay, I just joined Going Merry Go so I probably won't be here as often; oh, and I'll be starting my Devil Fruit Island there as well. I hope at least Aoki-chan, Nako-chan and Razu-chan all join in it.

Eep! Sorry! Didn't mean to offend anyone...but guilds just aren't that much fun anymore. In fact, Nako-chan, if you want my guild, free of charge, just tell me, it's only got 4 members and no freakin' posts so PM me and I'll sign it over to you, hand you the keys and paperwork, and you can have it. I don't want it anymore.

Actually it might have worked out but I couldn't seem to get any of my topics to stay on the fudging message board, so every time I tried putting up the announcement thread, it wouldn't appear. So I said, "to hell with it" and now I don't care anymore.

Wow, I'm glad we've finally got some enthusiastic peoples in here; maybe I won't quit Gaia so soon after all. Anyway, Ichiaka, that's awesome, we definitely can't have this RP without Sanji; I'm thinking of having him try to fight a woman in the fan fiction, what do you think? And Kyo Fox, if you want to be a pirate, I'm thinking Portgas D. Ace would be your main man, he's a very powerful guy, Luffy's fire-powered brother, and a pirate to boot.
