Just the gist of it please XD I'm not asking for essays but feel free to.
I'm still on the verge of getting my first piercing and in a few years (when I'm out of the house), my first tattoo.
Thanks for sharing!

Exciting, a bit nervous, but yet relaxing all in one.

I know the waiting is rough, but at least it gives you plenty of time to be sure of what you want and where you place it. Always remember to think ahead so that your tattoos seem to flow with your body. Also, the mother in me comes out here... but, please be mindful of future employment and tattoos. Don't limit yourself just because you want to express yourself. You can still express yourself and not hold yourself back from opportunities. It sucks that a lot of people still look down on those of us with tattoos, but for now that's the way it is. I'm older and have my own business, so it's really not a problem for me, but my husband just got a job that requires him to cover up the tattoo he has on his lower arm. I personally think that is discrimination and that if employers claim to be equal opportunity employers, that they shouldn't do that, but I also believe in respect for authority and most of the time in life we all have to do things we don't like. But aside from all that, hold on to your excitement and just know one more thing, tattoos are sooooo addicting! You'll never be able to get just one! biggrin

My first tattoo was on my foot and I was so scared getting it but I love how it turned out. The pain just felt like pinches.

I bet with it being near the veins.

Oh yes! My foot jumped all over the place. I couldn't control it. My artist, Fish, said that was completely normal. He was able to do a great job without mistake, jumping and all. blaugh

My first piercing was my tongue, i didn't even have any ear rings.
I was 14 and i told my mom i wanted it.
She laughed and later that week took me to the local parlor, and signed off.

I had it done, and it actually made me salivate all over my piercers hand x3
It didn't hurt, it was like..a cold pinching feeling.
My mom thought i was going to chicken out >_>

To this day, her biggest regret is taking me to that tattoo parlor.
