Tseng had gotten the new kid his suit, uniform, whatever it was and his id card. After that he'd, Garin, had been dropped off at his desk with orders for him to show the kid around. "... joy, now i'm tour guide. So, Boss get yer attention too?""Funny, you don't look like Barbie to me." He smirked, pushing his sunglasses up into his hair where they stayed pretty damned well. "How would you like to define 'getting my attention'?" He shrugged as he slid his boots off the desk and pulled himself out of the chair. His tail swished behind him for a moment as he smirked. "Yer workin here aren't'cha? Seems like a good way ta say it." "At the moment? I wouldn't call this working. I'd call this standing around looking pretty." He smirked. "If that's all we do this s**t's going to be easy.""Nah, that's only on special occasions." He smirked before he slid an arm around Garin's shoulder and leaned him toward the door. "Gotta show ya around right?""Suppose you'd better do as your told... Reno, was it?" His brow lofted as he glanced at the other male. "If you've been told to show me around I guess that's what you should be doing." "Notorious for doin what I'm told." The smirk on his muzzle told otherwise. He showed Garin around the Turk's floor first and then showed him the lower floors where the rest of the staff worked. Eventually he stopped by one of the doors. "Cafeteria .. and unless ya like worshiping the porcelain god id' stay outta there."He resisted the urge to call bullshit on the other male, deciding to keep his mouth safely shut... Until they paused outside the cafeteria, that was. "Food really that bad in there?" "Can see fer yerself. No one with half a brain goes in there." His sirk widened slightly. "Some days i think the Boss keeps it open just ta ******** with people." "That he might. Good thing I only eat at places I trust.""This would be th ekinda place ta trust ta make ya sick." He nodded slightly before he leaned back against the wall. "And stay outta the basement. Labs are down there ... Hojo ain't nice to wanderers""Labs?" His brow lofted. "Info packet didn't say a whole lot about those... Running experiments on poor creatures down there or is he searching for a cure for idiocy?" "Most likely the former." He'd een down there once and wasn't all that keen on explaining what he'd seen. "Though ... Riley goes down there no problem, Hojo's gont some sorta interest in'em" "Riley?" His brow lofted. "Guessing that'd be another guy like you?" "Yea. Haven't seen'em for a while though. Boss said he was havin 'issues'. Whatever those are." "Mm." He filed that information away before looking to the other male. "So is that it around here?" "Just about. There's some more s**t but it's mostly useless space." "So... What the hell do you do around here to pass time if you can tour everything in less than an hour?"

"Generally i go try ta beat the s**t outta my partner in the training rooms." His smirk crawled back across his muzzle.
"... cept he always wins and you end up with yer face planted on the floor." He almost figured Reno wouldn't recognize his voice. He'd been gone for what seemed like months.
"Mm... Now would that be your partner speaking, or..." His brow lofted, ears cocking towards the sound of the voice. Whoever it came from was good... Had a nice, quiet step.
He rasied a brow and turned his head toward the voice. "Finally decied to crawl outta yer hole huh?" He grinned over at Riley.
He nodded slightly. "I guess you could say that." Hojo had finally said he could leave again. Hopefully now he'd been 'fixed', whatever that meant, and he could continue working normally.
He stood back for the moment, observing the two as he tried to place who, out of the names he'd been told, this was.
"Good. Missed ya round here." He smirked before turning toward Garin again. "Ah, right ... this is Riley ... and this'd be Garin."
He turned his head and smiled at the new face. "Hey"
"Oh, so you're the guy who's not afraid of the basement." He smirked, holding his hand out. "Nice to meet you."
"Nothin really scary down there ..." He saw Reno twitch and eye him. "Nothin worse than you see in other forms at least." He grinned as he shook the other man's hand firmly.
"Seems like Red here disagrees with you, Riley." His smirk broadened as he eyed Reno, taking his hand back.
"He does that a lot. Never done him a bit of good." He grinned.
"I'll just stay outta there thanks. Creepy s**t down there"

"I was just asking Red what you do 'round here to pass time. Seems kinda quiet at the moment and I'd hate to get paid to do nothing."
"He and his partner like to work out ... amongst other things." He smirked. He used to hang out with Kaleb but now .... he just managed to not shake his head at the thought. "There's this pretty good Bar down the street. Pickin up a drink's a good way to pass time."
"A bit early to go drinking, isn't it?" His brow lofted. "And don't give me any of that 'it's five o'clock somewhere' bullshit."
"Didn't say anything about going drinking." He grinned. "Said a drink, never said what kind of drink."
"Generally one gets alcohol at bars... Unless you're into Shirley Temples."
"Not generally." YOu could always get non alcholoic versions of drinks but he didn't feel lime mentioning that. "Been kinda quiet lately. Boss hasn't had too much work for us so we're sorta on call, unless we wanna go on surveliance."
"And yet he's still hiring?" His brow lofted slightly. "Remind me to bring a deck of cards tomorrow."
"Boss never passes up a good thing."
"if you two are gonan chat i'm gonna leava ya here. Got a parther ta find"
He watched Reno leave and shook his head. "Guy couldn't sit still if you tied him to a chair"
"Most men tied to chairs don't sit still... They're too busy trying to get themselves untied."
"Doubt that'd be why he wasn't sitting still." He smirked. "He'd probably get off bein tied up"
"Now there's something I didn't need to know about someone I've just started working with." He smirked, leaning back against the wall.
"Gets it ouut of the way." he smirked and ran his fingers though his hair.
"Only if it's something you thought you'd find yourself wondering somewhere down the road." He laughed. "Red's not really one I'd wonder that about, I don't think. How many drinks he could take and still stand, maybe, but not if he could get his jollies off to being tied to a chair."

"I wouldn't challenge him ta any drinking contests." He laughed a bit. "Don't know how he puts it away."
"Third stomach?" His brow lofted before he shrugged. "Never really asked what working hours were."
"Some times i think he drunk himself stupid enough times that he's used to it." He shook his head. "Aren't really any ... least not for us"
"So we just keep a phone on us or loiter around here?" His brow lofted. "Think I might want to go grab some lunch if that's the case."
"Tseng give you your phone?" They all had one. He had no idea how they managed to get them so fast but they worked.
"Yeah... It's in my pocket along with my shades." He nodded. "He's always that serious?"
"Always." He nodded. "Sorta his thing. It's really cool to see him at parties. Everyone recognizes him and he grabs attention, but the second he walks out of a room no one remembers he's there"
"Kinda creepy." He smirked, pushing off the wall only to reach into his breast pocket for his shades. "Going to find some eats. You can tag along if you'd like."
"Seems to work pretty well." He ran his hands though his hair again, it still felt weird to have it, and followed after the other man.
"I guess everyone's got their own image to project and protect." He slid his shades on, slipping his hands into his pockets as he headed for the door.
"That's how things usually work. Be sorta borring without that." He waved to the surprised receptionists as they headed out side.

"So how long have you been with the company? Or is that one of the questions I'm not supposed to ask co-workers... Y'know, assuming there are any of those questions."
"A while .... not quite a couple years, something like that." He wasn't really sure anymore.
"You like it?" His brow lofted as he paused outside, letting his eyes adjust to the light even through his sunglasses.
"Haven't really done anything different. It's fun though. Keeps ya on your toes." He nodded before blinking a bit as he stepped out into the light.
"Always good to have things that keep you on your toes." He nodded, heading down the stairs. "How do you feel about diners?"
"They generally have better food than you can get at some expensive place."
"Good. I know a little place with the best food and the cutest waitresses." He smirked, picking up his pace a bit. "And they don't b***h when you sit around once you've finished eating."
He laughed slightly and followed after the other man. Not that he was all that interested in cute waitresses but Garin idn't need to know that. "Too many places b***h about that now a days."
"I know, right? This one just comes and fills your glass when it's empty and leaves you alone beyond that." He nodded. "I used to sit there and play cards in the back with the cooks when they were slow... Got a lot of extra money that way."
"Good at cards? Or are they just that bad?" He smirked.
"A little of both?" He laughed. "Depends on the game, really."
"Never was good at anything but blackjack." Too much time on his hands and way too much trainihg to pay attention to his suroundings had made him a good card counter.
"Good 'ol 21." He smirked, shaking his head. "Maybe next time I play I'll take you with me if you're game."
"Sure, why not." He grinned. "Just when they ban me from playing don't laugh"
"I've never known anyone to be booted from a game yet." He paused outside the diner door, nudging it open after a moment. "Good. My booth's open."

"I get called a cheater after a while."
"Then you're playing with the wrong people." He smirked, slipping into one side of the booth only to pull out the menu.
"Most people dont like losing all their money." He laughed as he slid into the other booth.
"That's why it's best to play with people who gamble for fun and not because they're in need of cash. I never come ready to bet more than what I don't care about losing."
"Don't always have the luxury of playing with those sorts of people"
"Then you're missing out on a damned good game." He nodded, glancing up over his glasses as the waitress came over. He flashed a smile at her that seemed to get her slightly flustered as she asked for what they wanted to drink.
He ordered an orange soda and while he was at a piece of coconut pie. "Guess i'll get a taste of a real game when you take me along hm?"
"Guess you will." He smirked as he leaned back, ordering an iced coffee along with a plate of fries and a slice of apple pie.
"That what you usually do for fun?"
"One of the things I do for fun... Others depend on my mood and the company I'm keeping." He nodded. "What about you?"
"I watch movies a lot ... and play videogames." He blamed the lack of fun things that weren't on a computer in the labs for that one.
"You need to get out more." He smirked, thanking the waitress as their drinks were brought over. "Thinking of celebrating landing a new job tonight... Don't really have anyone to drag out with me though."
"I've been sorta cooped up in one place lately. Medical s**t." He grinned.
"Then I guess asking if you wanted to show me where that bar you were talking about was later this evening is out?"

"It's not out." He shook his head as he picked up his soda. "I'm sure the owner misses intellegent company."
"Up for a venture with the new guy then?" He smirked. "It's been a while since I've gone out... Haven't met many others around here since I came to this area."
"Might be fin." He nodded. "I'm sure Lou would apperiociate a new face around."
"Lou the guy who owns the place?" His brow lofted slightly as he picked a fry off the plate as it was set down in front of him.
"Yea. Nice guy usually." Cept he still made Rufus twitch cause he was just too damn good at being a b*****d.
He filed that info away as he popped another fry into his mouth. "So... S'there anything else I might need to know about work that Red wouldn't have told me?"
"Don't know what all he told ya." He popped a bite of his pie in his mouth. "When stuff happens we go to work. Anything Rufus needs done that has to get done outside the 'norm' we take care of it"
"Sounds simple enough, really... " He nodded. "He told me not to eat in the cafeteria and not to go anywhere near the basement."
"Both pretty good things to tell people. Hojo's not really ... nice."
"A good bit of men wearing suits or jackets aren't all that nice. I think it comes with the line of work." Another nod as he nudged the fries away, pulling his pie over.
"Hojo doesn't wear either of those." he grinned. "Scientist, way cracked in the head too."
"Yet you've got no problem going down there? What does that make you... Brave or stupid?" His brow lofted.
"Hojo's my ... well dad. I guess i'm sorta used to him."
"... Oh." He was a bit surprised by that and it might have shown on his face for all of two seconds before it was replaced by a smirk. "Does that mean I've gotta ask him for permission to take you out with me tonight?"
"Never really bothered ta ask his permission to do most things." He grinned. "Doubt daddy'd care unless you brought me home in pieces."

"Seeing as though I try to stay out of bar fights?" He continued to smirk. "I think you'll be safe."
"Then there's no problem." He grinned before taking another bite if pie.
"Good." He couldn't help but laugh. "Wouldn't want to get in trouble my first day on the job."
"No worries about that."
"Good, good." He nodded, poking his fork into his pie before bringing it up to his lips. "Mm... Stuff's always good here."
"Hadn't checked this place out before. Is good though." He'd have to come back some time.
"S'nice to have company that isn't working here this time." He nodded.
"It's nice to have company that isn't dressed in a lab coat."
"I'm sure I could dig one up somewhere if it makes you more comfortable... Kind of digging the whole suit thing though. Makes me feel real sharp."
"Labcoat wouldn't fit ya. Suit's better."
"I make jeans and a t-shirt look pretty damned good too." He smirked, polishing off the rest of his pie.
He had a feeling Garin could probably make everything look good if he tried. He leaned back in his seat and picked up his soda to finish it.
"So..." He pulled out his wallet, flipping through his bills until he found one big enough to cover tab plus tip. "Where do you want me to meet you later?"
"Out infront of the office is fine. Easy to show you where the bar is from there." Plus it wasn't like he'd be anywhere else.
"Can do." He nodded, standing, tail flickering as he stretched. "See you 'round nine?"
"Sounds good." He nodded as he got up. He could hand around the office until then.
"Until then." He smirked, heading out the door. He could go home and play with his guns or something until then.
