Call me a skeptic, but no one really seems seriouse about it anymore. about 90% of the freshmen that joined this year don't take it seriously at all and just use it as play time. If this is the haul we got in this year with the freshmen, I'd hate to see next year. We need people who are seriouse about anime in order to keep our club going. I'm trying to do my best to help keep this club alive by any means necisary (sp?), but as the years pass the number of people who actually care about whether or not the club survives will dwindle into nothingness. I realize that I came in very late in the year and only went to one meeting, but from what I saw, we had many people who were actually seriouse about anime. Li, John & JonJon are leaving this year; Scott, Sandy & Joo are leaving next year; and the year after that Justin, Ben, Sydney, Olivia and I are leaving. The only two people who will be there after that are Ben and Morgan (both freshmen). There's a 50-50 chance I'll be here next year, so I'm really in no position to asses the situation properly, but from what limited information I have, I can make the assumtion that the anime club is dying.

Im really sorry for ruining the day. I'm not sure if I will come next year, powerlines appeared in the lot my new house is being built in, ph33r the point Engle homes tells us we can come and inspect the damn place. Please, have freak accident, or have my aunt buy old house, for me to keep the club alive until Scott leaves.


anyways, the only freshmen I know would care is Ben and Morgan, though they have the passion, and maybe the popularity they need of running a club, but I don't think they have the contacts with teachers, administrative, or other stuff needed to run a club. Let alone since they are freshmen, they may not be taken seriously by teachers, and our critics may have the footing they need to shoot down our guild, god knows how many teacers have complaints in their hearts because of our noise, gray area anime (cough-slayers-cough-lovehina-cough), and other ----.

Diplomacy= strong suit
Passion for Anime= have no idea, ask scott or jon jon
Question= who are you IRL?
Slayers= looking in view of teacher, easy, considering I'm a teacher for CCD
Morgan= could help ben
Ben= pillar of hope
me becoming a teacher and teaching at CHS= long shot, but will recreate anime club at any school I teach.

I already left the club because I thought it was too depressing. I prefer this virtual club to the real one anyways. whee

All I know about the Anime club is that it took 6 years for us to get the anime club approaved! If you all let it die then you suck. You all need to vote better and actually consider who can run the club... don't just pick someone out of lack of imagination. Im sorry but Jon and Lee may have come up with some things that Lynn and I couldn't but the members we had the first year where true anime fans. They weren't just of dweebs. I know none of us really were popular or anything but we did have different people. The only annoying person we had was.... grrrr.... what was his name.. oh yeah Jamal, and he wasn't all that bad. I beg you don't let the club turn into a complete joke. And for God sakes don't let it DIE!

I'm trying, i'm trying. I still feel like a failure though.

...It makes me sad. crying I hope somebody helps me out a bit *COUGHJONJONCOUGH* with trying to figure things out for the club next year.
