My favorite genre of music is called Syphetic Rock, nicknamed "Gothic Rock". It's a rockband with an orchestra behind it and a main singer, usually female, using opretic vocals. Good bands:
Within Temptation
Evanescence
Epica
Nightwish
I also like other genres, actually I like almost all genres. I love music from the 80's. Meatloaf kicks butt!
Linkin Park was fantastic until they started swearing. Then I lost all of the respect I once had for them.

I like a bunch of different bands, and my favorite changes from day to day, but here is a list of my all time favorites.

(and a whole bunch of other bands I can't think of right now! I like japanese music too, because it's usually got such an uplifting beat.)

I guess I'm the odd man out.
I really like some/most types of raps.
They are really interesting to listen to, since most "rock" bands are selling out.
I do like metal and "hard" rock as well.

I love t.A.T.u.! Sorry, Rulizen, but I cannot stand Eminem or Soulja Boy. Can't stand it...at all...Blech. My brother likes them, though...
Evanescence is cool...some of their stuff... I like Haunted, My Immortal, Bring Me To Life, and Surrender.
My brother is in love with the All American Rejects((Different brother than the one who likes Rulizen's music)) and Bowling For Soup isn't bad...not my first choice, though.

My favorite band of all time would have to be Queen. I absolutely adore Freddie Mercury. I also like The Killers, AFI, and Panic!At the Disco. The only genre of music I absolutely refuse to listen to rap. Other then that, I'm pretty diversified with my musical tastes.

Hmm.. Lucis tastes are a bit funny.. i love so many different bands and theyre all so different from each other but the one thing that remains constant.. i lothe dance (if you cant sing to it why bother?), love songs, depressing stuff (those two are one in the same really) and that operatic crap (strangling cats, no thanks)
