Who are your favourite vampire characters?
For me, it's Lestat from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and Dracula from Van Helsing.

Lestat was the best vampire from Anne Rice's novels, definately. Who do you think played him better in the movies, Tom Cruise or Stuart Townsend. I thought Tom Cruise was really good in Interview the Vampire, he captured everything just right. Stuart Townsend played a good modern Lestat though...the old Lestat wouldn't have been right for Queen of the Damned.

Rare to come accross a good vampire film. The most recent i watched was Dracula on blu-ray, seen it before though, but enjoyable.

In response to the approaching release of Twilight film.com have put together a picture gallery of vampires . It's interesting to see different films versions of vampires (although it doesn't take long to get tired of skin tight leather outfits stare )

That's the reason vampires don't go in the sunlight..because if they do they sparkle and then everyone would know they were vampires..and they wouldn't be a secret.. wink
