Who doesn't love the beauty of the outdoors? And with this lovely courtyard students can do exactly that. In the center of the courtyard is a beautiful fountain where students can sit along the edge. However, please do not damage it, it was rather pricey. There are also gardens to enjoy and paths to walk along. Overall this is a rather enjoyable place to be. Often students can be found here.

A pair of lavender eyes, narrowed to slits, glared at the layout infront of her. Disapproval? No, that couldn't have been it. Abruptly, as if taking a cue, the eyes faded into a gentle steel colour, widening to a more normal size. Her gaze could be followed to discover it rested on a sole, large building rooted infront of her, the structure's shadow disrupting the sunlight that was trying desperately to peek it's way over the top and consume the entire courtyard. It was a lush area, adorned with beautiful flowers and colours peeking out from green foliage. Not only was it beautiful, it was silent. Almost eerily silent. The girl didn't seem any indiffrent than she had been hours earlier, surrounded by attendants and maids rushing to secure all of her luggage in the chunky luxury car, as she sat in her room, brainstorming anything she could say to her father to ease the tension before she departed. Uninterrupted and still completely aware of her surroundings, she lowered her eyelids, concealing the dialated pupils. A peaceful look of reminicing replaced the unsure one she had showcased only seconds before, as the breeze gently ruffled her loosely curled, lengthy hair.
"Father?" She called again, expression grim as the man inside of the room remained silent. "Father, I know you haven't found reason yet to forgive me for what I apparently did to you in earlier years, nor have or will I probably ever find reason to forgive you. Before I go, I wanted to say..." Her eyes had dark circles, which only made the calm blue that they reflected seem brighter. They were turned towards the floor, looking at her dark and shined shoes. "...That I hope you're never stupid enough to put another child through the lifestyle I have lead for the days prior to today. If I never see you again, I hope you carry with you everyday that you've let your own flesh and blood evolve into something that's unrepairable." The sullen blue suddenly flashed a crimson, and the girl's fists tightened at her side. Her knuckles were bright white, but eventually relaxed. "...But it's fair that I thank you for keeping me warm all these years- if not giving me the feeling of safety atleast providing it in the environment around me. Please, take care of yourself. I hope to hear some sort of success story out of you." One of her hands moved from her side to the dark wooden door, touching it only with the tips of her slender fingers, before letting gravity pull them gradually back to her side. "Goodbye, Father."
The girls' eyes opened up again, a mimic of the blue they had been in her memory, her teeth grinding against eachother to restrain the water that had collected from dripping over her flushed cheeks. There's no point in feeling sadness now, Fleur. What's done is done. You never loved that man, he never loved you. The last set of words only triggered the depressed further, and she tensed, hanging her head as the latest gust let her hair fall to keep covering up a large portion of her upper back. As she finally took a graceful step foreward, the urge to let loose and sob dissapeared. One step seemed to remind her that she was here to avoid that unfourtunate excuse for a man. Her maids had long past assembled her belongings in room number eight- leaving the rest of the day to act as she pleased.
She decided on setting down on a bench in the courtyard. Fleur wasn't quite prepared, mentally, to begin the challenge of actually socializing with her peers. Unlike her mother, who she had been told was a social butterfly, Fleur had been so accustomed to the solitude that interaction seemed completely out of the question. Talking to her maids was as involved as she had ever gotten. She pointed the toe of her dollie-like shoes, tracing a small heart in the exposed soil in the break between the grass and the concrete path feet away from her. Their black neatness was now coated in dirt. Her tired, ever-changing orbs had settled on a dull hue of aquamarine, probably indicating boredom and some remaining sense of longing. She already felt like the black sheep in the student body, and she hadn't even laid eyes on any of the others, let alone exchanged words. She closed her eyes peacefully once again, sighing uneasily as a bird disrupted the reflection time.
What if none of this had ever happened? What if her mom was still alive? Would things be any diffrent? She assumed the obvious answer- yes. Radically diffrent. "I don't know, mother. Sometimes I believe the single decent thing that could have happened to me was the single thing that I ultimately missed out on." The words rolled off her toungue smoothly. It was comforting to hear her own voice. Her French origin was evident in the way that she spoke. Every word sounded silky, romantic, as if she was reciting some sort of poem full of beautiful words.
The thoughts fled quickly. Her mind didn't seem able to stay focused on one aspect of her past for long- the switching a hit to her anxiousness. She wasn't quite ready to introduce herself to the world yet, however, saving her the trouble of a quickly beating heart an an anxious mind. Her undivided attention lay comfortably upon a bush that had already blossomed, full of bright and subtly-coloured blooms. A rare smile graced the bisque-coloured lips as she sat, straightening her posture a little further and lacing her fingers together, under the pair of lady-like, short white gloves that covered her hands. Lace proved as an irritant as it scratched repeatedly the bare skin above the collar. It turned into a frown quickly, as she pondered the concept of wearing a more suitable outfit.
With a final clench of teeth and a squeeze of the golden heart-shaped locket that glimmered around her long neck, she dismissed any thoughts of the expirience that had accumilated, and took another fateful step towards her new home.

The bright blue eyes of a tall boy scanned his current surroundings. No current emotion could be detected on his flawless feelings, for at the moment no emotion was there. The boy only called forth emotion when a situation proved that such a thing was needed. Though of course whenever he was interacting with someone, especially a girl, he seemed to have a flawless personality with incredible charm. But that was due to how he was raised. He had been taught to fool people in order to get what he needed. However, what was proving to be a puzzle for him at the school was there was nothing that he needed to get to. He wasn't trying to get access to kill someone, and that was what he had always done. For once he just simply would interact for the sake of interaction. Such a thought was overwhelming if not horrifying. If there was no point in interacting then why would someone do such a thing? What was so great about people? There was no such thing about true friendship, humans were evil beings that would eventually betray each other, so what was the point? Perhaps he would just have some fun, find a girl, pull off some charm, and get his way just as he always would. Yes, that's what he would do.
But how long would that last? How long would he have to dwell at this prison that caged him within it's walls? How long before he could shed blood? Death. Killing. Blood. Oh, how he missed it. It had only been days perhaps, but to him it felt like years. His life had revolved around creating despair, which was a result of the despair that had been cast upon him, and without being able to do so he felt useless.
Even so, he was rather unsure of how he ended up in a courtyard of all places. With it's extravagant foliage and beautiful surroundings he really didn't feel like he belonged, his spirit was restless. Though perhaps once he met someone and used some of his flawless charm things would seem a bit more normal. All he needed to do was find someone, and at first no one seemed to catch his gaze. Until that his a girl was caught by his vibrant blue eyes. She was a rather beautiful girl no doubt, and she seemed much like the girls he used to converse with often; the ones that would be at all the fancy parties he would attend.
Immediately, Celian rushed over to the girl, hoping that she hadn't noticed him standing about as he had. Though what to say to the girl? It was far harder to spark a conversation at a school for freaks than at a party for millionaires. However, he would still accomplish his task, he always did.
"E-Excuse me, miss!" The crimson haired boy yelled out finally as he rushed over to where the young lady was. "I'm sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if you had any idea where the student lounge was located." He said to her with a flawless smile etched onto his face. Of course the boy knew that the student lounge was just beyond the doors nearby, but that didn't matter.

She was tempted to halt in her swerving path that supposidly would take her into the dormitories, however, it was swerving an awful lot. Fleur seemed more focused on the path she was taking than the place she was going, too. The beat of her footfalls sounded hesitant. Maybe she gave off the unintended impression of being strong and confident, but her churning insides were telling her diffrently. Much diffrently. It almost took small, periodic mental reminders to keep her cued into the world surrounding her physically, because inside, she was frequently loosing herself in recalling events prior to today- and reliving them all as if she had gone back in time. Currently, it was a thought about her very, very, very first encounter with shapeshifting of any sort. The serene purple surrounded her pupils yet again, and she stopped near the fountain, lowering herself to sit on the concrete.
"No, no Fleur. That toy is not for you." The small train she had been clutching to her chest was tugged from her grasp, set back onto the shelf next to exact replicas of itself. The young Fleur didn't cry out, however, instead lowering her eyelids and reaching for the nanny's hand in replacement, her tiny lips pulled taut. The nanny's hand, compared to her own, was gigantic and she compared the fingers in wonder, having to examine her other hand just to make sure it was her own that was being held. Was everything around her big? Or was she just small? Now a little more perplexed, the young girl stopped, all her attention turning undivded to the prospect. Her gentle blue eyes moved from the nanny's hand, which was reaching up to grab a can of something that would probably end up dinner tonight, and back to hers. Suddenly there was an odd sort of feeling in her hand, and in alarm she looked down, astonished to see it was now larger. And still growing. A tiny yell overpowered the store music, and the nanny turned. "Fleur!?" Upon explaining her problem best she could, Fleur noticed her hand had swelled down to normal size. Deciding she was hallucinating, the rest of the store trip was continued in fear.
It had been scary, but wasn't it normal to be alarmed when one of your hands had swollen to the size of an adults? She turned her gaze down to her slender hand now, focusing. The swelling felt much more normal than it had back then, she was sure. Relieved the power was still under her control, she turned her attention elsewhere. Envying the array of colours in the courtyard, she noticed abruptly another prescence besides her own. Fleur's eyes had become a curious shamrock-green as she noticed a person arrive in the Courtyard. Tall, with tanned skin and abnormally red hair- a male, had she not been mistaken. Her hormones kicked in without her permission, and the paled skin covering her cheeks lit up to an understated red colour. Avoiding his gaze, she turned her body away, assuming he'd think she was a freak or something along those lines. But Fleur didn't know any better- when had she been exposed to a person her age before?
Quickly enough, she heard a loud, "E-Excuse me miss!" Oh, charming. He was coming this way. Her face was disconcerted, still relaxed and unamused, although her eyes were now an alarmed orange color. She closed her eyelids, forcing them back into an atleast more average grey color, before turning them on this boy. He claimed to need directions to the student lounge. Of course, it was information she couldn't provide, she hadn't any clue herself. She turned her face downwards, piercing gaze wasted on the asphault that carved out paths. "It'd be much easier to tell you if I knew myself." To be polite, she looked at him as she spoke. His eyes were a blue as vibrant and unreal as the pallet of colours hers could become. Her voice was still smooth, even musical. "Sorry that I can't be of more assistance."

Celian couldn't help but feel a bit confused after the girl had noticed his presence, for she barely acknowledged his existance. The fact that he was there didn't seem to even dawn on the girl. The only thing that seemed to change when it came to the girl was her eye color, but that was far from surprising to the tall red-haired boy. It was a magic school, wasn't it? That meant there were many people all with differant powers. Odd, he never once had been confronted by someone stronger than himself, perhaps such an event would occur while he was a student at this school. Perhaps...
"Aw, are you serious?" The tall boy questioned in dismayed, a sigh escaping from his lips as he did so. A frown then became etched onto his features as he stuffed his hands within his pockets, his bright blue eyes looking about as if he was looking for the entrance to the student lounge. "Oh well," the boy finally admitted in defeat, "at least I got to talk to a lovely lady such as yourself." He said to her, a charming smile spreading across his face as his bright blue eyes loooked into her own.
Though due to her initial response to him he was fully aware of the fact that his charm wouldn't affect her in the slightest, but it was the only way he knew how to interact with people. Besides, all girls had their soft spot and were a hopeless romantic at heart... right? This girl had to be no differant. He would get to her. He always got the girl.

This boy was nothing short of attractive, she'd give him that. But that was about all she'd ever be giving to him, was the probable case. Ah, yes. A lovely lady such as herself? He definately wanted something, and Fleur's curiousity was beginning to get in the way of her mystique, for yet again she opened her mouth and began to speak. "As serious as they come." Incredibly, the response wasn't meant to be funny, or witty. Her carved-in-stone face may have hinted that she was being sarcastic, however, and therefore Fleur attempted something that could rarely be seen gracing her narrow, ever-frowning lips. A smile. Although faux, atleast it may give her some sense of personality. She'd been told she had a lovely smile, anyway. There wasn't much to loose. Instead of awaiting his dismissal, she rose to her feet. It was a surprise that this boy had inches on her, Fleur had always considered herself a giant when it came to height. Then again, there was that little process called puberty that (lucky her.) she had hit earlier than most of her peers. A slim hand moved across her poofy, dark skirt, smoothing out any stray pieces of fabric or wrinkles that had come with her small sit. "But, if it won't be a bother, I would like to accompany on your quest to find the lounge. I'm looking for my dormitory, see. Truth being that I have about zero directional sense" She didn't offer another smile, but a shurg in it's place as she stated a little-known fact about the girl.
He may draw conclusions it was an excuse to spend more time with him, however, that mattered not. She knew the truth, wasn't that what mattered? Besides, she didn't want to be wandering around the courtyard for ages. Alone. Eventually, in the dark. She shuddered.

A laugh escaped Celian as the girl replied to him. "Well, aren't you a little spitfire?" He said to her, the smile still lingering on his lips as he spoke. His initial impression of her had indeed been correct; she was obviously differant from the usual females he encountered. Then again he never really had encounted anyone that was attended a magic school before. Obviously everyone there was going to be far differant than the people he was used to. Ah well, his charm would still pull him through... hopefully.
"Of course you can accompony me. I'm sure that the lounge should be beyond one of the doors in this courtyard. It's simply a matter of which one." He explained to her, staring at her with his bright blue eyes. "I came in through that door over there." He pointed out, glancing at a door that stood just a ways away. "So, it's obviously one of the others one here." His blue eyed gaze then shifted back to Fleur.
"Oh, and I don't believe I caught your name, Princess." It was difficult to tell whether or not that last statement was sarcastic or not, but she didn't need to know. She could ponder on such a thing herself if she so wished.

"Princess" wasn't a foreign term to her, of course she'd been adressed as such back at home. However, it only alarmed her a little that she'd be called it here... She shook her light hair, assuming he was kidding, and ignoring the red colour her cheeks might be. Fleur turned her now confused-salmon pink eyes up towards his blue ones, one of her eyebrows arching. Spitfire? What did that mean? Had she said something? "Hmm. You'd think there'd be signs or something." She observed, not noting any indication of identification on any one of the assorted doors that could be her longed-for room. Fleur was exhausted, although maybe not coming across as such, and wanted some resting time to clear her thoughts and spark her intrest more than it was now. Her gaze lingered over every door for a collection of seconds, finger moving to her lips and tapping gently as she contemplated her choices. "And my name is Fleur L'Blanc."" She hurridly curtsied, although it still appeared a graceful gesture. Her maid had taught her a curtsy was appropriate no matter who you were talking to, if you wanted to come across elegantly. "Prince, dear, I'm sure you never told me your name either." The prince part was sarcasm, obviously. Even Fleur could tell.

"Oh, I didn't?" Celian questioned her as if such an idea was astounding. "Hmm... Well, that's unfortunate." He added, with no intention of telling her his name. Why that took out half the fun in the game. Besides, being a tease was one of the most enetertaining parts of the game, and he liked to have fun. "Well, then I'll guess you'll just have to call me prince charming, Princess." He replied to her with his beautiful smile spread across his flawless face as he gave her a quick bow.
He then looked away from her, copying her movement of bringing a finger to his lips as if mocking her. He then proceded to tapping his finger against his lips as well, still mocking the girl's movements. His eye's shifted about the courtyard, scanning from door to door. "Let's try that one." He said finally, pointing towards one of the doors that laid on the opposite end of the courtyard, beyond one of the lavish gardens that rested within the garden. "C'mon."

She wasn't much amused by his mockery, nor his "name". But her face was disconcerted, as were her movements. Fleur hoped he had a good time mocking her walk, slash skip sort of habit. Of course, it looked ridiculous, and she was accustomed to being teased about. She looked like she couldn't decide which was better- the skipping or the walking, and ended up with something in the middle. She walked a little behind though, as if to hint that the fact she didn't want to get lost had nothing to do with being "friends" or anything more. What did he care about her well-being anyway? He was probably a player at heart, and nothing more. Shallow, looking for some sort of entertainment. What better than toying with a girl's heart? She proudly tossed a curl of hair from her shoulder, applauding herself mentally for her discoveries. Figures that she, of all people, wouldn't be secure enough to trust that he wanted anything more than for her to fall madly in love with him, so he could break her already-fragile heart. Good thing she'd read his act. Or else it might have actually worked... "Hold it, sir. Even if I don't know your name, you know mine. Use it." Fleur refused to play games, even if they were simple like this.

Oh, how amusing this girl was turning out to be. Sure she wasn't falling for his charm, but when charm failed being difficult was always a wonderful alternative. Luckily for him, being difficult was another one of his many skills. Sooner or later he'd get to her. If he didn't then he didn't know what he would do with himself, he always got the girl, always. Then again, it was still the first day of his arrival. It was far too soon to start thinking about what would occur during the year.
"Okay, Princess Fleur." Celian then replied teasingly, glancing back at her for a mere moment with that smile of his plastered on his face.
Damn. How big was this courtyard anyways? The garden path seemed to stretch on forever, it's lively foliage a beautiful sight for the eyes to rest upon. It would've made for a truly romantic walk through the garden if the lovely Fleur wasn't such the little p***k she was turning out to be. Ah well, he needn't worry. If she was a hopeless case he would simply move onto the next. That was what he always did.
Slowing in his step, Celian finally began to talk to the girl once more. Might as well make the walk last as long as possible right? "So, what got you here in the first place, Princess?"

Fleur couldn't help but crack a smile. He was being stubborn, and she wasn't going to lie to herself, it was the slightest bit cute. Of course, she wouldn't ever be a fool and chase a heartbreaker like this one... but she was enjoying his company, as much as she seemed uptight about the whole ordeal. It was unnatural to be lead through a beautiful garden by an equally as beautiful boy... and if she wasn't careful, she might slip up. As soon as he asked why she was here, Fleur did something completely uncharacteristic. "Here, stop." She put a hand on the boy, turning him to face her, and locking her still paled pink coloured eyes on his beautiful blue ones, not bothering to remove her hand from his shoulder. "Now watch." Fleur focused all of her energy towards the shift, enjoying the tingle that ran throughout her body whenever she began to morph. It was a draining task, but in a fraction of a second, her eyelids opened to reveal a light, piercing blue to mock his. Her body had also transformed- taken the shape of the "Prince" standing next to her. She smiled at the foreign feeling, tilting her head to the side. "Tah-dah." Although this was probably nothing more than a game to him, it was life to her, and she hadn't prepared herself to fall for a kid yet. Not on her first day. She soon needed to slide back into her own body though, her eyes returning to the color they had been previously. Her body became familiar again, and she sighed. Her hand slid from his shoulder, falling daintily at her side. "That's about all I can do. What about you?"

A smile was plastered on the face of the beautiful boy as he watched Fleur exercise her powers. He seemed genuinely interested as he observed her actions, and in truth he was. Getting to know the powers of the others students was something he had wanted to do, and Fleur was the first one he had witnessed. He had to admit shape-shifting did seem like a fun power, though he still liked his; his was ever so much fun. And once Fleur questioned him of his powers he couldn't help but allow his smile to twist into more of a slight smirk.
"My powers are a bit more complicated." He began, unsure of how to explain it. He really never got the chance to explain them before. "I control the five senses. I can make people see, feel, taste, hear, or smell whatever I wanted them to."
His priceless smile then spread across his lips once more as looked at Fleur with his gorgeous blue eyes. "I could even kiss you without moving an inch, Princess."

She was intruiged to hear about his powers. This was so foreign a concept-Fleur wasn't a freak anymore. She was now surrounded by people like her, as her maid had called her, "Advanced". She had never seen how this word would help her feel any more soothed about her little secret, but it had been pondered. It felt good to let the thought go- she was at home now.
It was intresting- controlling all five senses? What a power. She was close to daring him to try her, but shook off the want, and instead let her curious pink eyes gaze. "I'd dare you to try, but I want my first kiss to be voluntary, you know?" Fleur said tartly, biting the lower of her salmon coloured lips in refrain. "Yours is much more fun than mine. Although, someday, I'll be able to use your powers in your body. But that's super advanced, I c-" She stopped, clearing her throat. "Excuse me for rambling."

"Rambling?" Celian said in reply to the girl, as if such a thing was impossible to occur. "Why you're not rambling, you're simply explaining something." He added, with that smile of his etched onto his flawless features as he gazed at the girl, who's uptight attitude was slowly slipping away. She was much easier than he had anticipated, however, she wasn't too easy. Sluts were something he was interested in, considering the majority of the fun was getting the girl. Though perhaps he'd try to be a bit less of a heart-breaker at this school. Back home he never had to worry about girl's trying to kill him with some freakish powers; here he did. "Besides, I like to listen to your rambles."
His smile then brightened as he reached for Fleur's delicate hand and gently pulled her so that the two were then walking again. Though of course he only held on for a mere moment before he slowly released his soft grasp he had upon her. He then averted his blue eyes towards her as he walked, his smile replaced by a slight smirk. "Never been kissed, huh?" He said to her, truly finding such a fact unbelievable. "Well, then good thing I didn't try. Right, Princess?"
