Fleur wasn't sure what she was now: dissapointed or relieved.
Naturally, she was looking foreward to see who the being she'd be spending the rest of the year with was, but on the other hand, she was worried sick they wouldn't be to her liking. Not that she was picky about people, but...
Okay, that was a lie.
She was picky about people.

There was a small table near the entryway, which appeared to lead into a lounge sort of area. On the table lay two keys, and a piece of paper. A little odd, maybe, but it certainly made Fleur curious. She assumed the keys were for her and her room mate, therefore snatched the one that had her name engraved on the backside, and picked up the piece of paper. What she was supposed to do with it? She hadn't a clue.
Sighing, she drew out a pen, and out of luck wrote down an item.
Her teddy bear, actually. She had left it behind in fear of being teasted about the childish item...
But it was suddenly in her hands? Well, maybe not hers... but one simular?
How had that happened?
"Magical..."
She murmured.

The door opened and seconds later none other than Celian strolled into the room. A smile was plastered onto his face as he walked up to Fleur who seemed to enthralled with a teddy bear and some piece of paper. Odd. He sure hadn't expected to walk in on that. Though he paid no attention to such details as he walked up to the girl, close enough to speak closely to her ear.

"Hello, Princess." Celian said to her, moving away from her after doing, with a smirk now on his lips. "Turns out my name is Celian. Funny, huh?" He said, satisfied that he had won this little name game of theirs.

Fleur was thinking about what a satisfying name for the teddy bear would be when she felt a warm breath upon her ear. Her eyes grew wide, becoming an alarming orange-red sort of colour, and she turned quickly. There hadn't been much need to, however, because her mysterious room mate Celian happened to be the boy she had just spent a chunk of her afternoon with.
"That was definately not funny in the slightest."
She said, a hand covering around where her heart should be as she tried to steady it's wild beat. Fleur had never been one to enjoy being taken by surprise, and unluckily for her, she didn't feel any diffrent when somebody was trying to sneak up on her. Most people got some sort of strange, paranoid mindset. Fleur was disconcerted, usually aloof.
"Hm. Well, nice to er. Meet you?"
She still gripped the piece of paper, pen lacing through her fingers, blinking to force her eyes back into a serene lavender.
"Celian."

Fleur murmured the name under her breath a few times, as she had done with the room number, and tried to merge the boy's name to his face. Being accustomed to calling him "boy", even after such a short time, this was easier said than done.
"Your key's over here. This paper is odd. Write something down, I think it appears..."

"Aw, I'm sorry, Princess, I didn't mean to scare you." Celian apologized, the most sincere apologetic look fixed upon his face. Though of course he still looked absolutely gorgeous, he could wear a paper bag over his head and still somehow look attractive, that's simply how Celian was. His apologetic expression then changed to one of curiosity, as Fleur spoke of this mysterious paper. Interesting, sounded like something he would like to find out more about. Of course he knew it probably wasn't just for objects for themselves, it was probably made to make the dorm how they desired, or that's what he guessed at least. One couldn't be all that sure in this school.

"Really?" He questioned, not doubting the truth of her statement. "That's cool. Maybe you should try writing stuff down for the dorm. Like blue walls or something like that. That might be what's it for." It was a valid argument wasn't it?
PostPosted: Fri Jul 11, 2008 9:45 am

"Okay. That seems sensible..."
It was a statement more to convince herself than Celian, being he was the one making the argument. She walked over to where the small table was planted, first picking up the key paired with her's, and looking towards the boy. "Here, take this." Fleur tossed the key at him without warning, assuming he had good hand-eye coordination. She, although not quite the most athletic girl around, had always had a knack for sports and such. Mainly as a swimmer, being her favorite of all the extra-curricular activities she'd ever performed in.
Fleur set the paper down on the table, lowering her body into a crouch to write easier, and putting pen to paper.
Blue walls.
Her scrawling cursive read.
As she raised her gaze upwards, she noticed the walls had been altered into a beautiful blue color. She got up quickly, looking alarmed.
"I'm not sure whether to be facinated or terrified."
Fleur had never seen magic in action, let alone advanced magic such as what was surrounding her.
"I suppose we should get decorating then, hm?"

"I'd go with fascinated. There's nothing too scary about a piece of paper." Celian pointed out with a laugh that was in attempt to ease her of her tension. "Then again you could probably make some scary things appear with that paper, but we don't have to worry about that now, do we?" He said, still smiling.

He had to admit, he was getting a bit tired of being Mr. Smiles-a-lot. Usually, on a job, he would've already succeeded. He would've left Prince Charming awhile ago, and slipped into assassin, but at the school he couldn't do that. He had to always be Prince Charming. Well, the Fleur at least. Perhaps to others he could let his true colors show. Oh how wonderful that would be.

"I suppose we should." He then agreed, unsure exactly where to start though. In all honesty he really didn't have a problem with the room. When it came to where he stayed he wasn't exactly picky. "Change it as you please."

"I don't honestly care that much."
Fleur was awfully simplistic when it came to design, secretly despising her exsquisite room's decor, and recalling the look with disgust.
"As long as you exclude the flashing neon lights, beer signs, and stripper poles, I'm completely fine."
Her tone was serious, proof that the thought had been
She did, however, quickly jot down a couch, a table, and a couple of chair. Being elaborate would be saved for a better, less awkward time.
"I should hope there's a shower here... I haven't washed up since last night."
The statement was made quietly, being so that she was talking to herself. She was positive Celian could care less about things such as her personal hygiene.
"Maybe we should lay a few ground rules. Okay, first: don't touch my stuff, I won't touch yours. Two: Privacy is a basic need of mine. Hope you don't mind. Three: If you're having late night parties on school nights, warn me so I can evacuate safely. Four: It's the same with girls. Five: I cook my own meals, so if you want some too, you have to say so."
Her tone had the coldness from the first words she'd ever exchanged with him, as if she was remembering now that it wasn't okay to get attached to people.
"And anytime you feel comfortable, you can stop smiling."
It was eerie how accurate Fleur's assumptions could be from time to time, but a slight smile had crossed her face as well, pink eyes giving away the lust she was feeling at the moment. Blinking, it dissapeared as she was immersed in realization, and she turned.

Of all the replies he could've given to her rules he probably gave the one she would've liked the least; he laughed. Though it wasn't to be rude, he was simply laughing at what she seemed to think of him. Sure, some of it may have been true but that simply wasn't the point. Finally, averting his bright blue eyes to look into Fleur's, he spoke. "Apparently you think I'm some crazy partying manwhore." Celian pointed out, still chuckling a bit. Silly girl. I'm actually a cold-hearted killer.

"Sorry, to make you think that, Princess.
" He apologized. "I'll be sure to abide by your rules." His words were genuine, without a hint of mockery lingering within them.

"Anyways, I'll take my shower when you're done."
He said matter-of-factly. "Don't worry, Princess, I won't peep."

"Hate to say that that's the impressision you gave me when we first met."
Actually, there wasn't a trace of apologetic tone in her voice for the possibly offensive conclusion, and her lips had pulled themself back down into an almost fretful expression, dissatisfied eyes casting looks about every way plausible besides back into Celian's brilliant blue ones. If the emotion she had felt seconds before wasn't just a side effect of breakfast this morning, than Fleur had something to be worried about.

Don't be foolish, you're falling for his trap.
Of course, "trap" in her mind included everything from a twisted murder plot to some perverted intention. The thought he could be a killer had never crossed her mind, and most likely never would, until some sort of obvious instigation or hinting was made. She debated with herself for a grand total of two seconds, before turning on her heel and executing her odd walk/skip all the way to the bathroom. Luckily, towels and such had already been provided inside, and she began running water in the bathtub. She pulled off one of her gloves, her hand quickly pulled across the stream already emerging. Scalding hot.
The hand tingled in the strange pain that came packaged with water testing, and she turned the knob all the way to the right, running her hand under again. Freezing cold.
That had always been the way she'd liked her baths.
She left it to run while she picked a new outfit from her wardrobe of millions, hanging it on the wrack near the tub before shedding her current one and climbing in.

Her hair was so impossible when it was wet. The little ringlets had already begun their irritating curl, and she wasn't even done pulling on her stockings. Luckily, it dried quickly, so by the time she had cleaned up and drained the tub, it was simply damp.
Fleur looked for Celian.
"I'm finished."

Great. Fleur had first implied that he was a manwhore, and now she had flat out said that. Not only that, but she also said so without a hint of remorse in her tone. She didn't care obviously, so did that mean he was failing? That he really couldn't get her to fall for him. Impossible. He could get every girl to fall for him. There hadn't been a single girl that had resisted him, but Fleur was different, and this was a magic school. Ah well, maybe for once he would fail. Perhaps he should simply stop trying so hard. Maybe then she would start opening up a bit more.

"See you when you're done, Princess."
He then said to her as she departed to go to the bathroom in order to take a shower. Meanwhile he went further into the lounge room in attempt to find something to do. However, nothing seemed to interest him. Sure there was a tv but there was probably nothing on that he really wanted to watch. In defeat, the tall boy finally settled onto the large comfy couch in the room. The soft cough then softened according to where he laid and soon enveloped part of his body. It was only moments later that the boy allowed himself to close his eyes so that he could drift into sleep while he was waiting for Fleur.

"I'm finished." The words rang through the dorm, and Celian immediately woke up upon hearing them. Slowly, the boy moved off the coach, a yawn escaping for his lips. Shower time... The boy then thought as he slipped into the bathroom and turned on the water. It seemed like forever since he had last soaked his body, and it was nice to know that he could get rid of the dirt that was upon him. Though if only the water could cleanse him of his sins, but he knew that wasn't about to happen. He would forever be the bad guy, but Fleur didn't have to know that.

After the boy had showered he emerged from the shower and grabbed a towel, first rubbing off some of the water in his hair before drying off his own body. He then wrapped the towel around his waist and opened the door that led to the bedroom. Modesty wasn't exactly his thing, so he didn't care all that much that the his perfectly toned chest was exposed. In fact he preferred having less clothes on. Clothing really was quite a bother.

"All done, Princess." He then announced loudly.

While Celian took his turn being hygenic, Fleur proclaimed herself to be hungry. First instinct was to cook, but she noted there was really nothing to cook with, and therefore she settled with the next best thing: writing in her journal.

She'd managed to keep a constant flow of entries in a journal since she was little. It was like stress release- a personal therepy session no other human being ever had to be aware of. She found the pink, overly-expensive looking notebook tucked away with her other prized possesions, and drew it out excitedly. The little lock was still plastered shut, just the way she'd left it. The key was kept in a compartment of her jewelery box, easy enough for her to find. She pulled it out, shoving it into the tiny keyhole, and turning the key sideways. The familiar clicking noise was far better than any music to her ears, and she dug a pen out from the box of miscellaneous items as well, finding a page that wasn't covered in scribbles and dating the paper before writing.

Today has been. . . eventful, to say the least. First day at school, and I've already managed to become smitten with my room mate, who seems disconcerted at the prospect of comitting to a relationship. My plan of attack is simply ignorance. It'll go away if I don't pay attention to it, that's how it always works. Otherwise, it's mainly been settling into the dormitory, which is very odd. You write things on a piece of paper, and they appear mystically. I'm not quite sure what to think yet, but it never takes me long to draw conclusions.

She was about to start a paragraph involving the day before when she heard Celian's announcement break her thoughts. She locked the small notebook quickly, attentitively glancing around for a place to hide the journal. Under her pillow seemed good enough, and she pushed it under before sliding off of the bed, fingering the silver chain hanging from her neck as she exited into the lobby-like area.
"I wanted to run by you that I'm ge-"
Fleur's eyes had only rested on Celian that moment, and they widened, her body turning away instinctively.
"Oh, dear, I'm sorry. Forgot you probably needed to change. I won't look."
Her hands covered her eyes in shock.
"Okay, feel free to go now."

Celian couldn't help but chuckle a bit upon seeing the girl's response to his attire, or lack-there-of. It was somehow exciting to be around such an innocent girl, perhaps not exciting, amusing was the better word to describe it. "Oh, sorry, Princess." He then apologized, turning his back to the girl and walking into the bed room where the two would be staying. Whoever designed the dorms should've realized that putting a girl and a guy in the same room wasn't exactly the best idea, though maybe that's the way they wanted. Who knew? The school already seemed complicated as it was.

The crimson-haired boy then looked about the room, searching for his clothes, or just some boxers at least. He was just going to bed anyways, right? Upon finally finding them among his things, which seemed to have magically appeared in the first place, he slipped on a pair of boxers. Throwing the towel on the ground, Celian plopped onto the bed that he claimed to be his. He had already taken the liberty of preparing for bed when he took his shower, so now all he had to do was turn off the lights and slip into his dreams.

"I'm decent, Princess." Well, kind of..

"Okay, cool. Anyways, I take that back, looking at the time I guess I sh-"
Fleur's jaw dropped when she saw what he was wearing.
His boxers? Her hands moved down to her reddened cheeks, shaking her head.

"Is that all you're going to wear? I mean, I-"
She stopped as she realized how goody-goody two shoes she sounded, and walked in simply, gluing her shocked lime-green eyes on the floor infront of her. Fleur couldn't believe her room mate's behavior, proving to herself exactly how sheltered she'd been living her life. Celian was basically just shirtless (and not wearing pants), and she was already bright red and concealing her face in the confinement of her wardrobe. She found modest pajamas to wear and walked back out wordlessly, splashing her face to reduce redness in the mirror before changing. Her old clothes were tossed in a small hamper provided. "Old" wasn't exactly a fitting word, but twenty minutes was long enough to sport an outfit. Plus, she favored the adorable pajamas.
They were name brand, of course, pink to accentuate her pale hair and skin while maximizing the innocence of her blue eyes. Of course, the shorts could have been longer, but they had just been for around the house before. It was almost embarassing, that he'd have to see her legs, after being used to showing nothing of them.
However, Fleur appeared confident enough as she entered and ignored the want to reach for her journal as she settled on the bed, pulling a stuffed animal from the box and hugging it tightly as she lay.
"Erm. I think I'm going to go to bed now."
She shut her eyes, yawning a bit as her body responded by curling up, facing away from Celian.

"See you tomorrow."

Celian eyes slowly opened as slumber had fled away from him. The moment of waking up was by far his least favorite in the day. Waking up merely reminded you of the fact that you were tired and wanted more sleep, but it wouldn't let you have it. Waking up time sure was selfish, but hey maybe he should try and at least have some fun. Fleur was still asleep so she could always have her wake up to something surprising, or at well make her think she was waking up to something surprising. Nice thing about his powers was he really didn't have to do anything in order to something, which was exactly what he was going to do. Confusing, no?

With a smirk on his face, Celian rolled out his bed and looked towards Fleur, trying to think of what she should see when she woke up. Perhaps him in the bed next to her? Ah yes that would do, and it was as easy as that. Simply by looking at the girl he was able to manipulate what she would see when she opened her eyes. Now all he had to do was wait for her to wake up. Funny. Most girls would die to have Celian wake up half-naked next to them, but he guess she probably wouldn't be all that thrilled.

It was just a wild guess.
