Well, this'll be interesting. It seemed like maybe they translated themselves into a hole in Watanagashi-hen (translating "chigawanai" as "It has to be her fault" and spoken just a little too clearly). It'll be interesting to see how they work their way out of it in Meakashi-hen. I've been waiting to see.

It'll be interesting to see how they work their way out of it in Meakashi-hen. I've been waiting to see. Which part of the chapter was that? Watanagashi-hen when Shmion's at freaking out while holding up the ladder for Keiichi. Keiichi misheard it as "chigawanai," or "it must be," but it was said so fast that it was slurred. In Meakashi-hen, it was shown that she was saying "yurusenai" or "unforgivable." In the dub of Watanagashi-hen, they translated Keiichi mishearing it as "it has to be her fault," which, while a relatively accurate translation, was said (in my opinion) too clearly and specifically for them to be too flexible in Meakashi-hen. I'm curious to see how they handle it. ...Yes, in all this, THAT is what's on my mind. xd

I wasn't all that impressed with the voice cast for the English dub, to be honest.

Yay! they should do what bandai did with gurren lagann and release a 9-episode set with sub only. That way it's only about $20.

But here's the down-side. -_- Now, all the episodes have been taken off crunchyroll. crying I was showing the series to a few of my friends, and now, to show them the second arc, I'm gonna need to buy TWO DVDs. because the layout has them stop in the middle of the arc, one of the most money-grubbing tactics I've seen since Nintendo made those games where you can only access most of the game by buying a bunch of GBAs or DSs. xp

Oh joy. I'm not a big fan of dubbing, but, whatever ... I suppose I should just go with the flow here. And they didn't exactly pick the best choice for voices,in my opinion. Rena's 'Good morning,Keiichi!' nearly made me cry.

Ya. The dubbing wasn't all that great. I felt kind of weirded out by the voices. I'll just keep studying my japanese so I can see these things Raw without subs. lol
