So i just attended a colorgaurd camp called Rhapsody Camp, hosted by Rhapsody Winterguard (in Seattle, WA). Four days of classes having to do with guard, sleeping in cabins, hiking the works. I took all advanced classes, starting with Sabre, then rifle, Flag, and Dance. (by the way, having 1.5 hour blocks of weapon back to back is very painful to the hand region >_<) It was AMAZING!!! Has anyone else gone to a guard camp, or something similiar (other than your school's band camp)? What were your experiences?? I decided that it should be longer than 4 days, because that's how long it takes to get into things and STOP being sore... But i had so much fun, and i got to meet people from other guards and Rhapsody, which is the guard i want to be in.
Anyways, talk about your experiences or anything else to do w/ this here....

We something along those lines. Our circuit has an education day. (It's next week too lol) All the guards and drumlines in the circuit (and some captains looking to join OIPA) that want to come get taught cool tricks and stuff. I imagine a lot like the guard camp. Ours is only for the day though. It is still a lot of fun and one of the few times we get to hang out with other guards and have fun.
