AHHHH IM HAVING PROBLEMS!
alright, when ever i open something through wine...nothing happens, no window nothing...please try to help as best you can

You're going to have to give us more information if you want assistance. What distro are you using? What version of Wine? How did you install it? Try: $ wine notepad what does that do?

Ubuntu 7..
the most recent wine..
It opens notepad, but thats the only program it opens.

Near Of Seven Ubuntu 7.. the most recent wine.. It opens notepad, but thats the only program it opens. what are you trying to run?

I'm trying to run VBA or Visual boy advance, which used to work on my other linux computers, i've been trying to get it to work for like two weeeks now, and i need it.
What do ou mean what i have installed?
ALOT i cant list it.

Why try and emulate an emulator if it is not needed, as Sitwon pointed out? Even though some programs running better under WINE than they do on windows nothing can beat something that feels native to the OS you are running on.
