I know I should just tell them and get it out of the way but there has to be an easier way to do it rather than just blurting it out and hoping your mother doesn't cry and your dad doesn't beat you. (he can't beat me lol I'm the stronger one now xd )
I've come out to alot of my friends...well mostly all the girls lol only one guy friend. Anywho, I've been trying to come out to my parents but I'm scared shitless of what they'll say or do.
I will probably not tell my father till I move out because he's very anti-gay and he trashes them all the time. I get mad at him for it but he's too narrow minded and old to change now.
My mother is the one I want to tell. I'm a mamma's boy and it hurts when I have to keep lieing to her but I'm scared of what or how she'd think of me after that.
Personaly I think I should bring about "what if" questions and slowly start hinting at it, and use a building progression. She's smart so she'd catch on quick.
I'd like your guy's opinions and or experiences with coming out to your rents.
Friends are easy, parents not so much

Luckily I live on my own and my parents were separated. I haven't told either yet but I plan to tell my Mother as soon as I visit her on the 22nd this month. My dad, though, I may never tell. Seeing as I'm following his footsteps and joining the military. Personally, though, It might because I denied the fact so long that I just believe it would be too late to build some acceptance between us. I just know I am building the courage to talk to my mother.
And that's what it is.
Courage.
Just tell your mom.
Ask to spend a day with her probably go to a park or a place where you show similar interests and may also talk ((not some male strip club!)). you should at least tell her. If you are close as you sound, she should be able to find it in her heart to accept you.
