He's already made it through the first round of the tournament and as Readymade by the Red Hot Chili Peppers started up loud over the small PA systems of the arena and the lights lowered considerable. A spotlight hit just above one fan entrances way inside the crowd and out stepped Scott Honeycutt wearing black boots that come to just below the knee and his red wrestling trunks. He stopped at the top of the stairs and ran his hand through his "fauxhawk" then transitioned to adjusted his right elbow pad as the crowd cheered loudly for him.
"Weighing into tonight at two-hundred and twenty seven pound from Tortonto-Ontario, Canada, he is the GzW Endurance Champion..... Scott Honeycutt!"
The announcer said with much enthusiasm. Scott began walking down the steps, he carried the Endurance Title in his left hand. Scott got about half way down the steps and he looks over at a little kid wearing a shirt supporting him tonight, Scott shows appreciation and rubs the kid's head for good luck. He got to the barrier and did an impressive hop over it just to show off a little more, as he walked to the ring Scott pointed to the fans in the front row and gave a thumbs up sign. Scott Honeycutt got another pop.
He rolled into the ring and bounced up to his feet with excitement. Scott looked over at the ref and gave him a sort of glare to spook him a little. He then laughed along with the referee and handed over the Endurance title. He raised them both his hands high into the air from the top turnbuckle as the music got to the loudest part, the fans were twice as loud. Tonight Scott was looking to add another belt to his list of accomplishments, he was confident. Scott hopped down, the mat giving a little spring as he did, he handed both titles over to the referee and headed back towards his corner. Scott stretched his back as he waited for the bell, yet he never took his eye off the ramp. He just waited.

Scott Honeycutt would wait no more, "Liar" by Queen hits over he P.A System. As Freddie rushes to the stage the only thought passing through his mind was 'just one more guy than that championship is all mine'. Freddie hurries down the ramp, only tagging a couple hands. Tonight he means business, he's been in GzW for a long time and tonight was only about the second time he's gotten a shot at any title. As he slides into the ring the crowd is cheering for him, Freddie pulls himself up to his feet quick and throws both his fists into the air. Freddie wasn't in the mood for a fancy entrance, he backed himself into the corner, removed his tag team belt and handed it off to the referee. Freddie never took his eye off from Scott Honeycutt.

Well, that's a bit of a shock! See standing across the ring from Scott Honeycutt was his own tag team partner from several other federations they've been in together. And what's that around his waist? Championship gold? Tag team Championship gold? Well I'll be damned Scott thought to himself as he bounced up and down a little bit getting himself pumped up for the match. Once both men were obviously ready for things to begin the referee would order for the bell to ring and Scott would immediatly offer a lock-up to start to the match.

Freddie stretched out his arms one last time, pulling down on the top rope. As soon as he brought himself and gave the referee a quick nod the bell was rung. Freddie did as Scott did and walked to the center of the ring, he accpeted Honeycutt's lock-up and looked to transition it into a side headlock.

Scott knew the side headlock was coming but he couldn't avoid it. Freddie held Scott his head and Scott didn't like it. He backed a bit and managed to bounce off the ropes so that he could push Freddie off from him and hopefully into the opposite ropes.

Scott took a couple steps forward by force, he thought quickly as Freddie was racing back towards him. Scott tried to leap frog over his oppenant.

Freddie had to duck down a little in order for Scott to leap frog over him without him getting hit. Once he passed Honeycutt, Freddie continued into the ropes and bounced off again.

This time as Freddie was rebounding towards him, Scott attempted a crossbody. It was early in the match but Scott was sure of himself.

Freddie was taken down with the crossbody. For a moment he had the wind knocked right out of him.

1..No!
Freddie wasn't near finished yet, he kicked out without any problem. Once Scott was off from him, Freddie would stand up again.

Being a little show-off, Scott Honeycutt performed a no-handed kip up instead of just standing up the normal way. The fans cheered for him as he did and Scott bought into it. He made the mistake of looking out into the crowd and not watching Freddie.

While Scott was looking away Freddie tried grabbing him by the arm and bringing him back to mat with an armdrag takedown. If successful he'd try to stand back up and stomp the same arm.
