I love when the british have "u"s in their words that are not there when an american says them...

It's not just the British. I'm Canadian and we have u's in our words. Such as colour and favourite. I think it looks better than color or favorite. You Americans and always having to be different. Like with your Thanksgiving a month after ours. Stupid. Or your Independance Day that you guys talk about for weeks on your news channels.

Well don't hold back, let me really have it why don't you. xd I just really like their (and your) "u"s. 3nodding
I also like the whole potatoe chips as crisps and "french" fries as chips. I mean that just makes too much sense.

We don't call our potatoe chips 'crisps'. But I do believe almost every where in the world where the English language is used they say 'Fish and Chips' when referring to fries. Fish and Fries sounds kind of stupid.
Just like your never-ending Independance Day, your lack of 'u''s and your late Thanksgiving.

Us americans have strange ways. Like our obsession with over-large meal sizes that can't possibly be eaten in one sitting, our primitive idea of the death sentence being reasonable, and the ridiculous thought that a monkey would make a good president.

So canadians don't say "crisps", I visited England for a couple weeks and I am pretty sure they refer to chips as crisps... confused

I personally love the way British people spell things like "realize" as "realise". I always want to type stuff British-ly, but I'm afriad people will call me a poser or something. So I don't. But I wish I could. Cause it's so much better looking than the Amercanized verison, I think.

Yes. I never said they didn't over there... We also don't drink as much tea as them or drive on the other side of the road. Not everything is the same.

And I thought realise was the only way to spell realise. You Americans are far behind. Just like your feet, miles and inches. You guys just wanted to stay behind while everyone else switched to horrible centimetres and kilometres.
