I've been trying to experiment with my cheapo lighting equipment (which consists of painter's clamp lights and GE Reveal bulbs).

Since I had Friday off of work, I spent some time making a general mess. wink

I love the second one. The pose and angle are just lovely.
I really like the concept and you did an amazing job with the paint and everything.

the first and second really jump out at me.
the gold compliments her hair and her skin well, and the shadows and lighting are just perfect.

Oh wow, nicely done! The 1st and 3rd pics pop out to me the most, composition is nice and I love the title/concept of the first pic xD

Lighting is very dramatic :] I find the second picture a wee bit dark for me though. Nice work : D

Wow! Those are absolutely stunning! I think the second and third are my favorite. Though the first is stunning as well!

Thanks so much, everyone!
It was such a fun series to work on... even though there's STILL gold paint on my camera. XD

.. self-portraiture gets so tricky, sometimes.

Great photos, I like them a lot.

My advice - Soften the lighting. It seems too harsh. HOWEVER I do like the harshness of it a lot. If you were aiming for that. Soften the light and then in photoshop, play with the grey levels and burn in to get that harshness. Also, I feel like there is a lack of information on the negative (...digital...negative...? hmm..). That would be fixed with the lighting though...

Great shots, I really like the 2nd and 3rd :]

keep up the good work!
