"The most common species at the Post Office and its surrounding area, Eoghan are admired for their intelligence and strength. It is this combination that allows them to work successfully with humans as companions. Their skills are most often put to use as part of the delivery trade, in which they deliver letters and packages both far and wide." Pronunciation: EE-oh-haan
Plural: Eoghan
RPable?: Yes
Offspring Rates: Non-Life-Mated Couples: 2-3 offspring Life-Mated Couples:3-5 offspring Active Owners= 1-3 additional offspring
Stages: Mailbox- Unlike birds, Eoghan give live birth the way a mammal does. However, their young are far too fragile when first born to be exposed to the elements, and thus Eoghan would traditionally place them in stumps or crudely-fashioned huts to protect them. Since becoming familiar with humans, they have taken to using the readily-available mailboxes from the post office instead. This habit has become common with domestic and wild Eoghan alike.
Baby- When an Eoghan is but a hatchling, it prefers to spend much of it's time sleeping. However, when it is awake, they're very curious and get into just about everything. Hatchlings are about the size of a house cat, and are not very strong. However, when they are born they already have very sharp and tough claws, so be cautious! Fully RPable with very limited speech capabilities and no flight.
Child- Male and female child Eoghan differ very little at first glance, until you get to know them. The males tend to be slightly larger than the females, and the texture of their coats is a bit coarser. They also become more aware of one another, so this is a time when strong friendships and even potential romances are formed. Generally Eoghan children begin to test out their wings at this stage, though their success varies between individuals. As a child, Eoghan love to explore the world outside of their territory, so keep a close eye on them! It is also now that children will begin mimicking the adults' behavior, in order to gain experience. Fully RPable with limited flight and speech capabilities.
Adult- As a full-grown adult the differences between males and females become more prominent. Strength-wise both genders stand at equal levels, though the females tend to be slightly smaller than the males. The fur on the front fore-legs of the Eoghan has now shed to reveal more calous skin. This is to help protect themselves while sparring over territory or mates, which is usually done using the sharp claws on their paws.. Another unique feature of the adult Eoghan is the crest on their foreheads. While its purpose isn't fully known, some have theorized that it is there to protect the jewel-like growth in the center of it, which is connected directly to the Eoghan's skull. Fully RPable with full flight, breeding, and speech capabilities.
Anthro- Eoghan can only reach this stage through the help of a mystical orb known as an Evo Gem. They are so incredibly rare that only a few have been found. Eoghan who reach this level have the ability to switch between their human and beast forms at will. (Please note that the art for this stage is unique for each Eoghan, and thus is not shown on the size chart or examples.)

"Hailing from warm southern climates, Faeghan have recently migrated north to the lands on and around the Post Office in search of a new home. Their previous territory was a sunny, tropical paradise, that they lost to deforestation. While not as common as their winged cousins, Faeghan are not considered a rarity. Their butterfly-like wings, which come in two different varieties, may appear fragile, but are suprisingly durable." Pronunciation: F-AY-haan
Plural: Faeghan
RPable?: Yes
Offspring Rates: Non-Life-Mated Couples: 2-3 offspring Life-Mated Couples:3-5 offspring Active Owners= 1-3 additional offspring
Stages: Mailbox- The tradition of using mailboxes in place of nests in order to protect their newly-born young has reached even the Faeghan of the south, who have embraced it whole-heartedly. Not RPable.
Baby- It is as a baby that Faeghan are the most vulnerable. Their newly un-furled wings are still very thin at this point, and are susceptible to tears, so keep an eye on them! Other than their wings, they are physically very similar to baby Eoghan, except for being slightly lighter in weight. Fully RPable with very limited speech capabilities and no flight.
Child- While they have not fully mastered using their gossamer wings yet, child Faeghan are very light on their feet. So much so that during play, the way they move has been compared to than of fawns. Their high metabolism and naturally slim physique lends itself well to this movement, which in fact is a way for them to practice take-off methods they'll need for flight later in life. Fully RPable with limited flight and full speech capabilities.
Adult- Now skillful masters of the wind, adult Faeghan use the fine hairs on their ears to read the movements of air currents to give them lift during flight. They rely heavily on this technique, as their wings are not as suited to being beaten heavily the way their Eoghan cousins' are. Fully RPable with full flight, breeding, and speech capabilities.
Anthro- Faeghan can only reach this stage through the help of a mystical orb known as an Evo Gem. They are so incredibly rare that only a few have been found. Faeghan who reach this level have the ability to switch between their human and beast forms at will. (Please note that the art for this stage is unique for each individual, and thus is not shown on the size chart or examples.)

"Eotronians are by far one of the stranger sub-species of Eoghan. They originate on the far-away planet of Eotron, which was ravaged after millenniums of war. Those born on their home planet have an all-mecha appearance, while those born on Earth have appearances that vary from cyborg-like to organic, though their skin is only synthetic. (Please note; all-mecha Eotronians only come as unique-lineart pets at the adult stage.)" Pronunciation: EE-oh-trohneean

"" Pronunciation: EYE-leen-aay
Plural: Ailine
RPable?: Yes
Offspring Rates: Non-Life-Mated Couples: Coming Soon Life-Mated Couples: Coming Soon Active Owners= Coming Soon
Stages: Egg- Unlike their larger cousins, Ailine do not need to be put in mailboxes after being born, as they come as eggs. The average incubation time for an egg is one week. Not RPable.
Baby- Once hatched, young Ailine are very fast learners who very quickly begin to experiment with flight and speech (though neither of these skills are mastered until adulthood. Despite being roughly the size of a large hamster they are surprisingly resilient and will attempt to take on creatures much larger than themselves when they feel threatened. RPable with limited speech and flight capabilities.
Adult- Fully grown Ailine are accomplished flyers and their intelligence level is similar to that of an Eoghan's. They are capable of understanding/conversing with both humans and the various species in the area (ie: Kel'ashe, Eoghan, etc). Physical differences between males and females are comparable to the ones in humans, and they are now capable of breeding. RPable with full speech and flight capabilities.

"Known by some as the "Behemoths of the Forest", Kel'ashe are a shy species. Far rarer than Eoghan of any type, what little information do we have on them comes from a scientist named Raven Norland who studied them over 100 years ago. The group that he studied were mysteriously wiped out, at which point his reseach notes end." Pronunciation: Kehl-ah-shay
Plural: Kel'ashe
RPable?: Yes
Offspring Rates: Non-Life-Mated Couples: 1-3 offspring Life-Mated Couples: 2-4 offspring Active Owners= 1-2 additional offspring
Stages: Egg- Kel'ashe do not sit on or bury their eggs like other creatures. Rather, they are kept warm and protected by a flame that will only go out if the baby's parents die. Should this happen, the egg will go dormant until a new flame is lit under it. Eggs that have lay dormant for over 100 years have been discovered and successfully hatched. The only other time the flames dim away is when the egg is hatching. Not RPable.
Baby- Fully RPable with no flight skills and very limited speech capabilities with any creature besides humans.
Child- Fully RPable with limited flight and full speech capabilities with any creature besides humans.
Adult- The burst in size from child to adult is the greatest of any species in the area. True powerhouses, Kel'ashe are not afraid to use their size against other species and each other should the need arise. Both genders can breathe fire now, though they never use it against others. In each flame a Kel'ashe breathes is a part of its own life energy. Its purpose is to heat the eggs of their young with a flame that will not go out until the baby has hatched, or the Kel'ashe dies. Apart from their size, adults are gifted with various spikes on their body for defense; on their shoulders for males, and on their tails for females. Fully RPable with full flight and breeding abilities. Speech is capable with any creature except humans.

" "Minis" is a term of endearment used for some of the smaller species living around the Post Office. While some remain wild, many choose to bond themselves to larger species such as humans, Eoghan and Kel'ashe. Each species has its own unique abilities, making them quite handy to have around. All minis are incapable of communicating verabally with humans. They can, however, communicate with all other species at the Post Office. Minis are primarily one-stage pets, but many are preceeded by a "letter" stage to give their future owner a heads-up!" "Laimta" (top row, middle) Pronunciation: Lime-tuh Plural: Laimtas -"Is this cloud really alive...?" Of course! While Mazo was parusing though an old room on the 7th floor of the Post Office, she accidentally knocked over a small perfume bottle; instead of perfume, out leaked a Laimta! Slightly timid creatures, they cannot stand the rain. They are always seen carrying leaves to protect themselves in case of a shower. The only time a Laimta will get wet is when it wants to reproduce, but they almost never do so, making them somewhat uncommon creatures. In fact, it's this fear that makes them wonderful weather detectors! Sunny when the leaf's down, rainy when it's up! Convenient, no?
"Jubi" (top row, far right) Pronunciation: J-OO-bee Plural: Jubi -About the size of a house cat, these little creatures have the appearance of being part dragon, part beetle. The jewel in their chests are rumored to have magical properties, and they were therefore once driven to near extinction due to hunting. In order to save their species, they went into dormant states within their own jewels, until a few years ago when they were reawoken and brought back to a safe population. Despite their pixie-like demeanor, they were remarkabley sturdy and are perfect for scouting ahead in uncertain situations. Their antennae are super-sensitive!
"Caomur" (bottom row, far left) Pronunciation: K-aow-muhr Plural: Caomur -A little mole, a little echidna, all nose. Caomur are known for their incredible sense of smell, which is said to be 10x better than that of a Bloodhound! They use their long noses and claws to dig up insects to eat, though they live above ground in bushes and hollows. They can live almost anywhere, though are less common in the higher eleveations of the mountains, beaches and cities. Lost a package in mid-flight? No worries! A Caomur could find that baby in no-time flat!
"Ailampa" (bottom row, middle) Pronunciation: Eye-laamp-uh Plural: Ailampas -Curious by nature, Ailampa are strange, almost ghost-like creatures. They can be most often found wandering the dark corners of Wrenshire and the forest at night, poking their little faces into any and everything interesting. They are in fact often mistaken for ghosts, due to their ability to hover and the strange lamp armeture they carry with their tails. And though the Ailampa itself and the flame in it's lamp do not act as seperate entities, one question remains to be answered- which head is in charge?! :0 Their glowing tails can come in handy in a variety of situations.
"Losorai" (bottom row, far right) Pronunciation: Lowh-zoh-rye Plural: Losorai -Highly aquatic in nature, Losorai can breathe both under and above water. They can also live in both fresh and salt water, making them a highly adaptable species! During the winter they live out of the water, keeping their skin moist with snow and living in underground burrows. Known for their instinctual sense of direction, getting lost while in the company of a Losorai is virtually impossible. Need a clue? Check out the compass-like markings on their backs!

"The only real difference between Minis and Limited Minis is that these little guys are not around all-year! Many of them are migratory and only appear at certain times of the year. There have been a few that appeared once, and then have never popped up since." "Batba" (bottom row, second from the left) Pronunciation: BAAt-buh Plural: Batba -These minis hit the scene in mid-Autumn like a ton of bricks; specifically around Halloween! Why? Because they LOVE candy! Those little teeth aren't used for eating bugs and fruits or drinking your bloood, but rather, for sucking the sucrose right out of anything. They seem to have a particular fondness for lollipop, making this sweet treat the perfect bait to try and snag one. They are the only known mini that is preceeded by a stage that is not a letter. Lost in the wood with no food? No problem! Because they need to drink as much sucrose as possible to keep their energy up, Batba have an excellent sense of smell and can easily sniff out food in the harshest of climates.
"Sayl" (top row, second from the left) Pronunciation: s-AIL Plural: Sayl -You'd be hard-pressed to find a more accomplished underwater acrobat that the Sayl. They're far from graceful on land, but in the water they've been clocked at nearly 70 miles per hour! Because of this, they can easily reach great depths in the ocean while still managing to hold their breathe. Sayl feed occassionaly on shellfish, but have never been recorded eating actual fish. Instead their diet consists mainly of kelp and almost any underwater plants they can get their teeth on.
"Eobun" (top row, second from the right) Pronunciation: ee-OH-buhn Plural: Eobuns -These sweet little rabbit-like minis seemed to pop up like, well, rabbits(!) one Easter a couple of years ago. This huge influx was short-lived, but those who appeared were given good homes! Their wings, being as small as they are, do little in the way of flight; a few feet off the ground is about the best these little guys can do. What's more incredible about them is their sense of hearing! It's about 20x better than that of an Eoghan's, making them great companions in stealthy situations.
"Eochick" (bottom row, second from the right) Pronunciation: ee-OH-chIk Plural: Eochicks -Don't be fooled by their name; Eochicks' only affiliation to Eoghan is that they make great companions to one another. The circumstances under which them came to populate the area is exactly like that of the Eobuns'. Strangely, unlike their rabbity counterparts, Eochicks cannot use their wings to fly! Rather, they fill themselves with air and, using their wings to steer, float along on the wind like dandelion puffs! Their feathers act alot like a cat's whiskers, and allow them to detect things in their surroundings. They're great indicators as to which way the wind will blow!
"Spiram" (top row, far right) Pronunciation: SPEE-rahm Plural: Spiram -Spiram only appear in early spring, around Easter-time, though unlike the Eobuns and Eochicks, are rumored to make this appearance yearly. The horns on their head are as hard as diamonds, and they are very defensive of their owners. When comfortable around someone, though, they make a noise that can only be described as a purring/singing sound. This soothing melody makes them highly popular as household pets to those under stress.
"Kidling" (bottom row, far right) Pronunciation: k-ID-liing Plural: Kidlings -Like the Eobuns and chicks, Kidlings appeared in mass numbers one winter then seemed to disappear (save for those who'd already found homes). Though they are reindeer-like in appearance, their size and build is more close to that of a baby goat. Being rather energetic, Kidlings use this trait in the winter time to stay warm by moving around alot. In fact, they sometimes generate too much energy! This is what makes them wonderful companions, however. Should an Eoghan become stuck out side in the cold, a Kidling can provide a welcome source of warmth!
"Pingupa" (bottom row, center) Pronunciation: Piin-goo-pAH Plural: Pingupa -Pingupa can be described as the anti-Kidling. While Kidling provide warmth, Pingupa generate temperatures around freezing internally! So suprisingly, this makes Pingupa quite handy to have when the sun's just too strong; say hello to the walking air conditioner! They can survive in both hot and cold climates, though seem to have an overall preference for the cold.
