~*Ranks*~
Alphas
This rank is the highest rank any wolf can have. The alpha is the "leader" of the pack. It is his and her job to protect and maintain the pack. It is their say on the rules, and who may have a mate and pups. Usually its only the alpha's that have pups. But sometimes if the alpha male and female like a couple, they will let them have pups.The alpha male and female are the dominant over all the wolves in the pack. They are also the first one's to feed on a kill. It is the say of the alpha who gets what rank. No wolf may have a rank until the alpha addresses all the wolves in the pack in a meting.Then she or he or both will announce the new wolf's rank or the wolf's new rank. Plus he or she or both will tell the pack what they are expected to do, and how they are expected to act around everyone else.
There my be only one couple of wolves or two wolves as alpha. The Alpha Male my only be chosen bye the alpha female of the pack.
Betas
This is the second highest rank any wolf could have. The beta wolf is like being the alpha's right hand wolf. If the alpha needs a second opinion then they ask the beta. Usually the male beta helps the male alpha and female beta helps the female alpha. Another expectation of the beta wolves, would be to maintain order in the pack. If there is a dispute and its not big enough to go to the alpha's about it. Its the beta's job to fix it.
There may only be one couple of beta wolves, or two wolves as betas.
Elder Wolves:
Gammas are wolves that are chosen by the Alpha to be advisor's to the Alpha. These wolves are usually older, but not always, and have demonstrated that they are wise and can guide others in the pack. These wolves are the most highly respected, other than the Alphas, and help carry out many of the big decisions. They have a say in punishment for disobedient wolves, and often cases of these are brought before the Elder if deemed to small for the Alpha. Of course, the Alpha often overlooks the Elder, and has final say in everything.
There may be up to 4 members of the Elder.
Head Wolves:
Head wolves. These are intelligent, experienced wolves in their field. There is a Head Zeta, Head Delta and Head Sigma - that is, Head Warrior, Head Hunter, Head Scout. They have shown great comprehension of their field, and are treated as masters of it; a greatly respected wolf by any rights. Only the Alpha(s) or a joined and approved decision from the Council can promote a wolf to this position; it is one of honor, and not chosen by the wolf itself.
Obviously, only three Psi Wolves.
Story-Teller Wolf:
The pack's story-teller. Commonly seen as an elder, though this may not be the case. He or she often entertains pups along with Upsilons, tells them dark and light-hearted tales of wolves, foxes, humans, hunts, even wolf gods. Highly revered by much of the pack, they often help bind the pack together; speaking words of wisdom or simple entertainment. Former Alphas, Kappas and Upsilons are known to progress to this highly respected rank, though occasionally simply a free-spirited wolf with a thirst for story-telling may obtain this rank.
Only one Story-Teller wolf.

Hunters
The guards and hunters are in the same rank as each other.Not one is better than the other. But just like the guards the hunters have a job to do. They will get sent out by either the alpha or beta. To hunt. It is their job to get a big enough kill or more than one kill so they can feed the whole pack. They will most likely get sent out at any hour of the day. So if the hunters are not hunting, they are usually resting so they are at the peak of perfection when they are asked to go and catch food. Sometimes the whole pack will go out hunting, like on special occations when the pups are on their first hunt. Or if the whole pack needs to re-group and become a family again. But usually it is the job of the hunters to go and get food. Any wolf at any satuts may go hunting, but only with the permission of the alpha and a hunter wolf must be with you. The hunter wolves are the fastest and most agile. As they need to be able to run quick to catch the prey that the wolves need to survive. There may be form one to four hunter wolves.
There may be only four Hunter wolves.
Scout Wolves
The Scouts of the pack. Often wolves that aren't the best hunters, but are excellent trackers. Sigma and Delta wolves can work together when tracking prey over a period of time. Often, these scouts travel far and wide searching for food and new hunting territory. They are often positioned near the territory borders, and are one of the first to spot new wolves or intruders. Fast and agile, these wolves are often fairly young and have a great deal of energy, though lacking in physical strength.
There may be up to four Sigma wolves.
Gaurd Wolves
The job of the gards are to make sure the pack territory is kept in line. They are sent out by the alpha or beta to patrol the edges of the territory and to make sure no new comers or lone wolves have been coming in or going out of the territory. They are also a group of the strongest wolves, as if they meet up with an animal like a bear or a courgar, or anything else such as a lone wolf or a human. They must be able to defend themselves and be able to get back to the den to report to the alpha or beta.
There may be form one to four garud Wolves Only.
The Healer
Like the Healer of the pack, this member can heal almost any injury or illness with the right tools and herbs. Greatly looked up to by most members of the pack, pups especially, they are invaluable, especially after large territorial battles or fights for dominance that leave wolves injured. Often they take on young, intelligent wolves as an Epsilon, or Apprentice.
There may only be one Healer.
Pup Siters: none yet
Usually a she-wolf, the rank Pup siter describes the pack's main pup-sitter. There may well be more than one wolf of this rank, but it is usually filled by mothers, or older wolves that have lost their ability to hunt or track. A well-respected wolf, the Upsilon wolf often has a patient, calming personality, and is often invaluable to the pack.

Nurse: none yet
The job of the nurse is to take care of the pups when the pups parents are away. Another job of the nurse wolf is to heal the injured wolves. The nurse is usually a female wolf. Usually, the nurse would have been taught in her orginal pack or by another nurse the ways to heal and how to take care of pups. Another job of the nurse is to tell the pack and the pups stories. Either stories of life, death, or anything along those lines. The nurse wolf, is usually a wolf that is very wise, and if a wolf seeks an answer to a question. They would most likely go and ask the nurse. The nurse's rank would be around the same as the Guards and Hunters. They are not better than the alpha or beta. But shoud be respected none the less.

Delta Epsilons
Delta Epsilons are young, strong, fast, healthy wolves that have a loyalty to the pack, and wish to protect it by becoming a Delta. Ranked above Pack Members, they learn the ways of the hunt in more detail, as well as leadership skills taught to them often by other Deltas, or Gammas. Considered Pack Members, but generally the pack treats them with a bit more respect.
There may only be three Delta Epsilons.
Zeta Epsilon
These are young wolves that show a great deal of promise. Either strong or fast, these wolves have a fierce desire to protect and fight for their pack, and so are trained up by the Zeta wolves or occasionally they Alpha wolves until they are considered strong enough to be a full-fledged Zeta. Their training can begin as early as they are weaned, if the parents or Alpha permits it, and may last their whole life – some wolves are never quite strong enough to make the cut. There may be any number of Epsilons.
Healer Epsilon
Similar to a Delta Epsilon, except a Kappa Epsilon learns the way of health, rather than battle. Often younger wolves selected by the pack's Kappa or Healerto learn their ways, they have to be focused on their task in order to succeed and be a Healer.
There may only be one Kappa Epsilon.
Aprentance
These Wolves are the ones who will train under Another wolf

Members:
Lower Members are either pups that just turned one, wolves that recently joined the pack or former Omegas. You can also become a Lower Member if you were demoted in rank by the Alpha(s) for the wrong actions. Lower Members don’t have many social freedoms, but they are free to do as they wish as long as they show proper respect to those above them and obey the pack’s rules. Any number of wolves - though their own hierarchy will be decided on how often they post.
Yearlings:
Yearling wolves. These are wolves that until now were pups, but through their pup hood have learned the basics of pack life; hierarchy, how to hunt, fending for themselves and so on. Depending on the parenting, and the strength of the individual pup; some are now easily able to look after themselves, and wishing to rise in the ranks, become an Epsilon. Others prefer to become normal pack members, where others remain in the care of their mothers (and/or fathers) until they are two years old, and considered adult wolves. Iota wolves would be the wolf equivalent of teenagers; and here is where their characters truly develop and shine through; now they have learned a little about their environment.
Any number of Yerling Wolves, though they will not remain in this position longer than a year.
Pups: there shouldn't be any yet
The pups are usually the alpha's pups. But sometimes there are more pups by other mates. Even though the pups are the alpha's pups, the pups have no right to boss any of the lower ranking wolves. The pups must listen to the wolves that are around them as long as it is a sensable act. Oviously the pups do not have a a job, but to survive and be cute. At least, until they get older and either leave the pack or get a rank in the pack.
There bay be any number of pups
(/Once a pup(s) is born, they are role-played by the parent(s). If after a week no other person is chosen to role-play that pup, they will die. Sorry.Also You may ask to join as a pup not bron form the pack. As long as you get adotped bye another wolf in the pack And the alpha says its okay/)
Tau Wolves:
The rank all wolves are given whom just joined the pack. They are of this rank and are "under assessment" by the Alpha(s) of the pack. It is during this time a more suitable rank within the pack hierarchy could be selected for them, or, if they are seen as troublemakers, they will be chased away from the pack.
Any number of Tau wolves, though the period a wolf will remain in this rank is not long...

Omega Wolf:
The lowest possible member of the pack. They eat last at every kill, and are subservient to all other members of the pack. Often the wolf in this position is in bad favor with the Alpha(s), though they can be promoted based on the Alpha's choice. The Omega is the lowest ranking wolf in the pack. They are the last to eat and often sleep separate from the pack. Being singled out for torment isn't unusual and most of the time the higher ranks will allow it. Sometimes they are put in charge of watching the pups if the Alphas deem them trustworthy enough. Omegas are always one step away from banishment and must work hard to prove themselves to the Alphas in hopes that they will remove the rank of Omega.
