Chapter 1:Black Out
"This is imperative to the mission...so you will arrive here"The man with spikey gray hair drew two "x" on a map."and here".The man got up from his crouched position in the chair and walked toward the balcony in the Hotel room and looked out the window as if yourning for something.He turned around and looked at the two men in the chairs in front of him.
"L....The situation that were in is bad....if we cut him off here..."The boy with curly yet spikey hair rew one more "x" on the map on the glass table.
"yes that will actually work" L said walking towards the fridge in the back.he pulled it open and whipped out a platter with a cake on it."Good this calls for cake!"L said jubiously."L this isnt the time for fun"Said the older looking man.He wore a suede suite with a blue tie and rimmed glasses."Luteneint Soichiro Yagami....Whened you get so Tight? Relax a bit. We've already identified one of the two suspects...we just have to catch them."L said as he folded up the map and switched the platter with its place."i agree with Deputy Yagami..we shouldnt be eating sweets...oh yea and by the way..your teeth are going to fall out of your mouth if you keep eating sugar"Said the boy stating a point."Now,now near an Apple a day keeps the docter a ways and i eat apples also-"
"Thats beside the point! We need to catch Mikami and Mosuke immediatly!"Yelled Yagami,interupting L. L sighed and forked a peice of cake into his mouth."im sorry but its 4;23 am and i would like to eat my cake and go to sleep"L stucked one more peice of cake into his mouth and walked over to a door in the hallway ,opened it,and retired in the bed for the night.Near stared at yagami."its time for you to head home Yagami we'll see you in the morning we have a lead on suigetsu and Mikami so just go home to your wife and kids"he said.
Yagami sat uup from his chair and straghtened his tie."thank you near ill see you tommorrow"he strode over to the door and walked out."Tommrow he dies...."Near said to himself.
The next mornng L was up and running and ready to catch his suspect.He walked out grudgingly and stared at the Boy sprawled on the couch in front of him."Hey Near up! Time tog go! Call Yagami"He nudged Near.Near swatted a limp arm in the air and it flopped back down"No.....I will win.....Suigetsu...Michihara"Near said drowsily.L became increasingly more anoyyed as near went on about Toys, and dice and other undescribable things.He listed his leg and heel dropped ear on his back.Near immediatly jumpped up and sent a Lightning quick jab to L.L bobbed his head."What the hell man???"Near rubbed his face and got to his feet.He drowsily slumped to the bathroom and began his morning routine.By the time he was out Yagami and L were sitting on the couch , silent.Something was wrong. Near looked closer they there mouves were duck taped and they were bound."damn it"Near said immediatly becoming alert to everything around him."Your too slow" Said a cool voice from behind him.Near's instinct told him to turn around but a blur of black stopped him dead in his tracks and then,he was on the ground seeing stars.
