So I was surfing the internet I found this absolute gem of an icon:

(Yagami Light from Death Note & Takano Miyo)

And I started thinking, "My god, they would make an epic pair". Two psychopathic mass-murderers with a virtual army of followers and god-complexes? It's too perfect! Their dates would be completely hilarious; they can talk about different ways to kill people and inflate their own egos!

So, I am now an official advocate of the Yagami Light x Takano Miyo pairing. Anyone else thought of some rather unusual pairings in their days?

That would be a VERY interesting pair, but... I kind of like it!

Anyways, the one couple I really like in Higurashi is Irie/Shion. I think that would be considered a crack pairing... but I think it would be really sweet, and I got vibes from episode 23 of Kai that Irie cared a lot for Shion (when she saw Satoshi, and Irie promised to do whatever it took.
