Snape walked into the room that was now to be his. He smiled sweetly as he strode to his desk in the front of the class to await their enterence. He'd have the first years first... Time to make the start of term speach he loved so much. He egarly straightened his desk, checked that his quills were sharp, and when the first student entered he put his customary scowl on.
"Please be seated."

"We will start off with something simple. A basic outline of the course. This being your first year at Hogwarts it's important to start off on the right foot."
Snape paused as a young first year Slytherin walked into the room, skyclad due to the note, his books giving him some simbalance of modesty.
"Again?" Snape pointed his wand and the boy's cloths grew out of thin air upon him.
"As I was saying. We will cover mainly the basics this year. What is white, gray, and black magic, how to do various things, and of course, the end of term projects. Now, as of right now there will be no homework for tonight. But this may change. Most of the time what we do will be practical work. So it'll be in class." Snape moved to his desk and sat on his chair.
"You will need the following for ths class:
Parchment
Quill
Wand
The text book - A guide to Wizzards Mark, how to mark a Wizzard by James T Krunk
As well as the standard potions kit. We will be learning some deffensive and healing potions and herbs this term.
Also the text book - Hexes: A study by Talimena Protecta
You'll be learning how to guard against unfriendly spells.
Also, one last thing to be added to the list, you should have with you at all times a talismen. If you'd like to know what is acceptible see me after class. --pm me later--
Snape stoped and realized the class was hanging on his every word. Looked around and sighed.
"Well..." No one moved yet. "Why is NO one writing this DOWN!" He got rather miffed as he stood up and began to pace the classroom.
"Now mainly this class period will be used today as a kind of adjustment period. You will be given today to read over this list..." He pointed his wand at the chalk board and it wrote down the list of times he'd said to bring. "... and to familiarize yourself with the text. When the bell tolls you may leave." Snape walked back to his desk and sat beind it.
"Any questions?"

Libby walked into the class, feeling horrible for her tardy. Today was Wednesday, the day 3rd years were to be taught. She had completely forgotten about the class. "I'm sorry Professor Snape," she said, out of breath. "I'll try to remember next time."
Her memory was always horrible when it came to class times.

Then he went back to talking about his lesson plan.-- I should post what I want for the third years shouldn't I. -sigh- HOw you want to play this?-- I don't know.. It would be much easier to just post one lesson for the entire school.. and maybe different homeworks.. or the same homework.. who knows. Whatever is better for you.
