Months had passed and there was still no sign of her litter. Though some of the pups in this region looked alot like hers- they weren't. And she'd never know if they really were hers either. See Druciella's pups had died in birth and so she never did see what color eyes they had- or the heart-like spots that would have blossomed on there pelt as the weeks progressed. Instead she had created her own children in her mind. Laughing and playing- doing things that normal puppies were. Except the difference between those puppies and hers- were they were alive. And it wasn't as if she was dumb- she fullwell knew her pups had passed. But like any mother didn't want to deal with the reality. So instead she searched aimlessly pretending that they would come back one day and nuzzle her nose. Yip her name, or grow to a glorious adult.

Zelsius traveled through the woods, careful treading his steps light and flowing. He did not think he could ever open up, not with any other wolf. Nothing really ever happened to him, but loneliness. Those who he could have some type of relations with, gone. He needed to strike up with a wolf who could open him up, not that he would ever really know this.
He needed one to be friends, or more.

Her eyes fled from tree to tree as if her mind played tricks on her. Prehaps her pups were playing 'hide and go seek' a common puppy game. That would explain why she couldn't see them. Maybe one- her youngest son would jump out infront of her and ease her unerve- but again as she waited for him. Her heart told her the truth and she moved away from the spot. If only the winter hadn't been so harsh. Or prehaps the herds hadn't moved so early- but whatever it was it caused her pups to pass.
Her body slumped forward her face hitting the ground. She went threw these depressions a few times a day as the insanity of her pups was driven away. 'Damn her for being so young' She grumbled to herself 'Damn the deer and damn the weather!' She cursed more verbally in her own mind. Then something snapped her out of her sadness. A large beast was prowling around her location. Larger then a deer- yet smaller then a full grown moose. A wolf?! Her nose made a twitch into the air as she slid her body into a sitting position. Yes another wolf. She shuttered for a few seconds not wanting to get into a fight with him. Prehaps if she just stayed quite he would pass by without interfearing.

Zelsius smelled the scent of the female wolf. He peered curiously at the white, red-colored female. She was giving him some space, one such as he deserved. Good.
He looked down at her with half-lidded eyes. Low, not threatening towards his position. So quiet. He saw the female shuddering, distressed?
Zelsius sat near the female, wondering what she was doing on the floor like that. He deserved positioning as he deserved but he doubted she was like this because of only him.
"What is a female like yourself, prostrated like so... shuddering? I know it is not purely because of me, though you should prostrate yourself in front of a presence of one like myself..."

Dru cocked a head shuttering only a few more times then looking over strangly at the new male. She still feared some kind of attack so intead of relaxing tightened her body up once again. This new one was strange- though he carried himself like an arrogant king. So she assumed that was what he was talking about when he was refering to her odd behavior. He wanted to be treated godly.
Dru took another short breath and looked at him. She had no intentions of challenging the male. Nor did she want to start trouble- so with that she seamed to hunch down abit more and never made eye contact with him once. Then after a few momentary seconds her motherly side took over and she was less afraid then before.
"You see sir...my pups are lost- I've been looking for them all over. But I'm afraid they have passed with the bad weather we have had lately."

"Pups? Your pups are lost? When did you lose sight of them? How long?" Zelsius couldn't help but now be concerned, curious. For pups were a pack's life's blood. New blood, to be cherished. They could grow strong, just as he had.
Zelsius stood up higher, sniffing. If not too long ago, he should be able to smell them out quickly.
