Hey there! Hope I don't get in trouble for making something like this! I was just thinking, there are many people here who like DNAngel, but don't have any idea what to get while they wait for the next volume or DVD, so here is where you can suggest a series! I've even made a template for you, little old helpful me. xd

Name of series: .Hack//The legend of the Twilight
Plot summary: Its about these kids who play on a massive online Role Playing game called "The World". They have good times and stuff but then thet get into some trouble with a NPC.........
Anime, manga, or both?: I'd get both....very good!!! though I dont know how many dvds are out yet. But there are only 3 volumes to the manga.
Recommended to fans of DNA because: There aren't really any similairies at all. But the storylines good and the art is Wicked!.......I suggest you people give it a try!!!
( I first watched it at an Anime North convetion and thought it was halariuos yet bueaitful. So me and my friend bought the first 2 mangas the next day whee eek )

Name of series: FLCL (fooly cooly)
Plot summary: Just to cut a long story short, it's about this girl on a vespa that shows up outta no where and hits this kid over the head with her base guitar. Then randomly robots began to appear out of lumps that form on his forhead, and the "Vespa Girl" goes and destroys them!
Anime, manga, or both?: I've only read the 1st volume of the manga O.o
Recommended to fans of DNA because: There are absolutly no similarities what-so-ever. It's just utterly random, and hullarious. So I decided I would post it.

Aaha, I have anyone to post!
Name of series: Rave Master (adventure groove)
Plot summary: Here's the theme song that basically describes it.
Welcome to the tale of a land conqured by evil. People in dispare are living and fighting to their bones. Haru and the gang set out to find the answer but together we must find a way to beat the Shadow Stones! He who weilds the sword must then become the master, seeking out the stones with a Carrot Nosed dog?!! Three heros set out for a mission filled with danger. 3 2 1 time for Rave-o-lu-tion! Quest for Glory! seeking out the stones with the power that we own, this is our hero's story! For it's the greatest that the world has ever known!
Anime, manga, or both?: Both! The manga is a bit better in the sense that it gives more information about the plot than the manga. So I would recomend reading the manga first and then watching the anime.
Recommended to fans of DNA because: It's just a good story. XD

Ah, this is exactly the type of thread I've been looking for. n_n I've been looking for a good manga series to buy, but I have no idea what to get. Thank you for making this thread.
Name of series: Fruits Basket
Plot summary: After her mother died in a car accident Tohru Honda was forced to live on her own, and in a tent. After one of her class mates let her live with them she found out that her class mate's family, the Sohmas, have been cursed by the twelve Zodiac animals (And the cat. [: ) and transform into the said animal when they are hugged by the opposite gender. It's a very cute series.
Anime, manga, or both?: I liked both the anime and the manga. The anime was acctually cut short from the manga and only gets up to about the sixth volume before ending, but all four disks are out in the America. The manga, on the other hand, has sixteen volumes but only seven of them are out in America so far.
Recommended to fans of DNA because: Well, they're both cursed.. But that's about where the similarities end. Or at least any of the similarities that I can think of at the moment.

I read that series (.Hack//Legend of the Twilight) a while ago. I totally reccomend it. 3nodding Also, I believe that Yukiru Sugisaki's (the creator of DNAngel) newest manga is called Lagoon Engine. I haven't been able to check that one out, yet.

Plot summary: This Girls Alice is a lotus master and has to defeat Mara which has taken over her sister and put a curse on the love of her life who is also a Lotus master and they are always together but she can't tell him she loves him or he might die.

Recommended to fans of DNA because: there is not a whoe lot of similarities except for the author and that there is romance and has school stuff. It is really good too! heart

Plot Summery: The main characters are Goku, Sanzo, Hakkai, and Goyjo. It is based on the legend "Journey To The West" like the hit series dragon ball. (if you want to see good contrast read my crossover fanfiction!) The "Sanzo Party" Is racing to get to the west to stop the evil yokai (demon) guymoah (sp) from coming back to life.
Recomended because: It is really funny, Goyjo is exactly like dark, and action packed... but not for romance lovers...

Plot Summary: A girl named Alice uses the power of words as a weapon and is guided by a bunny girl to become a Neo Master and find the lost word. Along the way falls for her crush Kyo, whom her older sister is also in love with.
Why Recommended: Its very cute and if your a fan of Yu Watase, you will like this series. Its got drop dead gorgeous guys, a cute bunny, and lots of sister rivalry and angst.
