The Dragon Spine Mountains is there the School is located, hidden in one of the many secluded valleys of the mountain range.
The Mountains are named the Dragon Spin Mountains because they cut the continent right in half-- and is surrounded by vast tracts of evergreen forests on either side. In the forests live the lycans, living in forested towns where they build their little villages and hunt for food... and do what they do, basically.
