So what's everybody's favorite anime/manga?
...I can't choose what my favorite would be, I've seen too many really good series, anybody else like me in this way?

Oh, dear lord, so many to choose from...

Slayers, Pretear, Sailor Moon, Saiyuki, Wolf's Rain, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell (movies and tv series), Hellsing, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Voltron and Unico...

Gotta to put in a few of my first anime loves...

Voltron was good but it wasn't great and Power Rangers totally killed the Voltron concept for me

Also even though I'm gonna probably take heat for my choice I'm gonna stick to YuYuHakusho the theme song they first played on Cartoon Network always catches me right in the heart. The action is cool and the battles are not as intolerably long as Dragon Ball Z so I'm gonna stick with my boy Yuske.

Yea. YuYu is an excellent series because it's not as long as Dragon BallZ and has plenty of action. I do enjoy all the english versions of the songs that they show on CN too

Yea. YuYu is an excellent series because it's not as long as Dragon BallZ and has plenty of action. I do enjoy all the english versions of the songs that they show on CN too

Well, I don't like watching the whole Dark Tournament arc...once the fights begin, all I can think of is...OMG! DBZ!

But other than that, I enjoy Yu Yu Hakusho. I even remember watching Poltergeist Report, which was one of the Yu Yu Hakusho movies, long before the series came to America. I think that was back in the days of VHS only...no DVDs.

As for Voltron, it was one of the first mecha anime I ever saw, and since I generally like mecha anime nowadays, it was kind of a starter kit for me...LOL

Of course it was cheesy. It was the early 80s, after all. Animation has come very long way since then. I help a friend when she runs her Anime 101 workshop for the public libraries, and we decided to show how far animation has come...

So we showed the opening sequence for Battle of the Planets...and then we showed the opening sequence for Last Exile... eek

The audience was like "whoa..."

I love Candidate For Goddess. CN Changed the Name when they aired it and called it Pilot Candidate. Has anyone heard of it? please tell me you hAVE! I already have over 500 people who havn't heard of it and only 128 people who have... *sigh* It's so depressing...

Make the 130. I've seen the first couple of episodes. It's pretty good, Hte main character reminds me of Daisuke from D.N.Angel.
