I'd say that changes as technology progresses. Before, I never really cared for Halo (any of them), but since I got Xbox Live, I find it very hilarious. Right now, my favourite is Guitar Hero, but that'll likely change as something cooler comes out. xD
I don't game enough to know the all-time best video game, though.

I perfer DDR over guitar hero! I don't have good enough hand-hand-eye cordination to play that game! sad
