This is the first official issue of the Ultimate American Idol Guild Update Newsletter, which will be sent out to everyone in the guild when there are new updates. Exciting! biggrin Whee! whee [I'm super ticked off though because I had half of this typed out and my brother's stupid video game ruined it, and I had to start over evil scream gonk , so bear with me] So, as you all know, unless you are fairly new to us, this guild underwent a BIG change in theme recently; the guild used to be devoted totally to the hatred of a stupid, disgusting, loathesome, slutty, ugly, rude, evil, foul [I could go on!] thing!!!!!!!! scream confused , but now redface lol , it is a place for fans of a great show made for finding the next singing sensation. Yay! whee biggrin Well, this newsletter is mostly to inform you about, yet another drastic change, or two... biggrin For starters, I am beginning a newsletter to inform all of our members about upcoming events or changes. Which is... what you're reading right now! eek razz However, this is the last newsletter you will be recieving from this account, because I have created another account which I am devoting specifically to this guild, hernandezloverforever, and this account is also the new Captain of Ultimate American Idol Guild. 3nodding It's still me, though biggrin , just a new account so I don't have one account all loaded down and whatnot. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO! if you want to recieve the newsletter [which won't be periodical, it will just be sent out whenever there are updates] is add hernandezloverforever as your friend. Here I come with issue number two!!! Excited? [You - "yes"] Good!
So, a lot of things have been going on with our awesome guild since I last spoke with you all! Well, let's see... wait... NOTHING has been going on!!! domokun scream gonk crying
Come on people! scream Okay, so you added me as a friend, right? 3nodding So, now, you need to prove that you are devoted! confused I mean, when you join a guild, you are immediatly signing yourself up to be active. Did you know that? rolleyes Well, it's true. 3nodding And do you know what else? It's a guild rule to post once a week! [see below, rule #5] eek It's something that I haven't been enforcing lately, but that needs to change, if I say so myself. So, let me give you a quick refresher of the guild rules. They're simple, and shouldn't be hard to follow, confused mmkay? Yay!!! *claps* okay, here you go, and by the way, these are simply copied and pasted from the thread inside the guild. Quote: Rules 1. Follow the Gaia Terms Of Service and Rules and Guidelines http://www.gaiaonline.com/info/index.php?mode=tos http://www.gaiaonline.com/info/index.php?mode=rules 2. You are permitted 3 warnings before you are banned from the guild. You will recieve a warning for disobeying any rule on this list. 4. NO CUSSING. Cussing in a post will result in your post getting deleted and you recieving 1 warning. 5. Please, please stay active. If you do not post for a whole week (there will be exceptions, e.g., out-of-town, vacation, not able to be on computer, etc.), you will recieve a warning. Meaning, you will be banned from the guild if you are inactive for 3+ weeks.

There are just here to make sure that this guild has a positive feeling to it. So you see? Ultimate American Idol Guild Update Newsetter
Hey Idol fans!
I'm the Captain of the Ultimate American Idol Guild, in case you didn't know or forgot. xd redface Just giving you another update about our guild. Well, we recently gained some new members that I'm pretty excited about. (And to those new members, I'm really sorry that it took me so long to approve your requests. I've been busy and haven't really had time to man the guild very much. But good news! I'm MAKING time. xp haha.)
Anyway, um,,, I know I had a reason for this new newsletter... um... Oh yeah. xp So, there's a new subforum in the guild, and I'm not exactly sure what to do with it, so I need all of your help to put in your opinions and help me decide. There's a sticky thread in the main forum where you can put your suggestions.
So, with the start of a new season of Idol, that gives our guild the perfect oppertunity to flourish with activity! Meaning I'm pressuring you guys to get your butts on there to post. PLEASE! sad Start new topics about who you love, who you hate, who was wearing stupid clothes! Haha. Norman... confused haha.
Anywayz... ha, catch you all at the guild! If you have any questions, you can post a thread, or pm me or SarahlovesDavidH. Which also happens to be me. eek haha.

Ultimate American Idol Guild Newsletter #4!
Hey, all you awesome fans. I'm just updating you on some recent goings-on in the guild. [[It's also a reminder to all members to get on there and POST!]]
Hmm, well... um... I know I wanted to say SOMETHING in this newsletter... rolleyes Lol, jk I know what I was going to say.

Recently I added three new subforums to use, for more organization with all the topics.
One of them, most of you can't use, which is the Crew Only one, but if you're a crew member, go check that out. It's where important messages and reminders will be kept. ninja
Another one, one which all can use, is the American Idol Pictures forum. Post any pictures in that forum. There is a topic in there for every season, plus a topic for any other random idol pictures, like the judges, ryan, and so forth. biggrin
The other one is a Contests and Games forum. There are a few fun little bump games I put in there, and also you can post other games you think are fun. It gets you free gold, it's a fun way to get to know your fellow guild mates, and such. whee Fun Fun!
Make sure you read the rules of each forum before posting, so you know how to post correctly. No one wants their posts or topics deleted! eek

I made a banner for the newsletter which I'll be putting at the head of each issue. Eventually I want to make some sort of format where there will be different sections and such, almost like a real newspaper, but on a much smaller scale.
Here's the code to the banner. I don't know why you'd need it... but here you go, lol.
