Here's a recipe for a simple one-serving chocolate cake that you can make in only 5 minutes!
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. cake flour (you can substitute all-purpose flour if you don't have cake flour, but it turns out better with cake flour) 4 Tbsp. sugar 2 Tbsp. cocoa 1 egg 3 Tbsp. milk 3 Tbsp. oil
You'll also need a coffee mug and a microwave.
Step 1: Mix flour, sugar and cocoa in the coffee mug. Step 2: Mix in the egg. Step 3: Add milk and oil, mix well. Step 4: Put the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 3 minutes. Step 5: Wait until the cake stops rising out of the mug, then remove from the microwave. Step 6: You can either eat the cake right out of the mug or put it on a plate and eat it <3

Wow...I've got to try that o_O Its so simple...it seems almost like magic.
I'll probably be standing dangerously close to the microwave just to watch the cake rise and bake before my very eyes...

I made you a mod since you're pretty active in the thread. I figure you can make a Tips and Tricks announcement or whatever you think will be useful. xD

That chocolate cake recipe looks hilarious and awesome. What exactly is meant by 'oil', though? Melted butter, olive oil, sunflower oil, canola oil? Some other form of oil?
Also, the apple pie recipe I posted in the last few pages of the original thread doesn't seem to be in this list. Should I repost it in here?

I topped it with vanilla ice cream. xD
And yes, please post the recipe you posted over here. =D These lists will be updated.

Here it is again.
Apple Charlotte (otherwise known as the obscenely simple apple pie)
Difficulty level: heart Note - all cups and things are metric.
Ingredients: 4-6 apples, smaller number is if they're huge. Granny Smiths are best, but any sour apple will work - the sweet and softer varieties are likely to fall apart too much.
1 cup + 1/2 teaspoon of plain flour 1 full teaspoon (ie with a hill rather than flattened) of baking powder 3 eggs 1/3rd cup of sugar A little bit of butter
Implements: oven, knife, something to beat ingredients together in and with, a tin of some sort (mine is round, about 24cm diameter and 5cm high, and it only just fits; use nothing smaller), some sort of spooning/mixing implement. Optional - a small oven-safe dish.
Step 1. Preparation. Preheat oven to 190C. Optional - place the small dish filled with water on a lower rack, to keep the inside of the oven humid. Take your tin, smear the butter in a nice layer over the bottom and sides, then put in the 1/2 teaspoon of flour and tilt the tin until the butter is all covered in flour. You may need to add a bit of extra flour, maybe, but you don't want more than to just cover the butter, or the pie will be covered in uncooked flour at the end.
Step 2. Dough. Beat together eggs + sugar, then add flour and baking powder and beat/mix again.
Step 3. Chop up apples into big cubey-things. You don't want to go crazy and make them too small, because there's not much dough to cover them! Less surface area = good, in this case.
My chopping strategy: Take off two opposite sides of the apple starting at the edge of the core (so almost as if you're cutting it in half, but with two slices so you leave the middle out). Then turn the apple 90 degrees and repeat. You'll be left with two circle-bits, two archey bits and the rectangular core (which you can gnaw on). Cut each arch bit into 3 (4 for large apples) and cut each circular bit into 3/4 arches, which you then cut into 3/4 bits.
Step 4. Tip apples into the dough. It looks stupid (OHMAGAWD too many apples!) but just keep stirring it over and eventually the dough will thinly cover the apples. Tip the apple mix into the tin, spread it evenly and scrape any excess dough you can evenly over the top of the apples.
Bake for 1 hour, then turn tin upside down onto a plate to get the yummy pie out.
It hasn't got much sugar, so you can have it as a dessert, as breakfast, grab slices with you as lunch instead of a sandwich... be warned, it's so tasty I can eat a whole pie in less than 24 hours. sweatdrop Also, it's all one consistency so there's no filling that can be squeezed out accidentally. biggrin

Cherry Dump CakeDiffuculty: heart Ingredients1 20 ounce can of crushed pinapple ~ DO NOT DRAIN 1 21 can of cherry pie filling 1 18 ounce box of yellow or white cake mix 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) In a 9x13 inch pan, dump the can of crushed pineapple onto the bottom of the pan and use the back of a spoon to evenly spread. Dump cherry pie filling over the pineapple. It's recommended that you use a spoon, and spoon a few cherries at a time so you evenly divide it throughout the pan. Next, dump the package of cake mix completely over the pie filling until no cherry or pineapple are visible, and lightly spread to evenly coat. Do not crush clumps, and make sure a few "mountains" are left on! Cut butter into pats and place over the cake mix. Sprinkle nuts over top. Do not mix ingredients! Before baking it should look something like this. [x]Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. For a dessert dish that only requires 4 ingredients and 1 hour of your time, it'll taste great and as if you spent many hours preparing and baking. Sure to satisfy the mouths of your family and guests, they'll never know how easy this dish was to make!
