Okay so, many of us may have some really neat things in our room and I think we should share some of our nifty things.  I think Val is going to appreciate the Jewish posters a lot =]. There is a hat from Russia that my father brought back from me, black dolls that were handmade for me, a bow an arrow on the wall that was made by an Indian for me. You can barely see my Egyptian incense burner and some of my Latin books.  Kinda self explanatory but I REALLY love my Aztec man, samurai sword and my seemingly oriental vase, proto-geometric? Also, my panda is from a friend of mine, Yunsheng who comes to visit from Beijing every few years.  Colosseum bookends, and art work on my wall from South Africa. My aunt Farhannah and uncle Mohammed live in Cape Town.  You can't see my ivory artwork on my wall that my father brought my from India but you can see the table. My Pace flag that I bought in Italy <3. I have other stuff but I could be here forever saying where everything is from O.O. Time for you guys to share!

I got my camera lens wet last night (it started raining when I was in the woods photographing mushrooms) gonk
I'll take a pic when it dries and gets cleaned.

I don't really do anything interesting to my room. Boring I know. I like my lotus poster though. =]  I hand-stamped the morning glory vine 'round the window. Ah ha, the bookshelf is visible in the corner.  I really don't have anything unusual. xd

er, I don't know how to put pics up on gaia, it's just been that long since i've done anything on here. If someone would like to show me how to put pics up, i would gladly do so. xd
But i would say mostly in my room is a book shelf filled with different types of books, a very tiny statue of a hindu god of rememberance, and the corner with all my video games, tv, vcr stuff. oh and my bed, a typical twin size bed with another rollout bed underneath. that's about it.

this is my little lovely room ^_^
This is the head of my room with my German flag (yes i am German...well Canadian but my Family ocmes from Germany^_^), my Egyptian plaque, African inspired mask that i bought in Germany and my Chinese symbols that you will see all over my room^_^ for example:
they are every where and each symbol means something and they are all hand painted^_^ It took FOREVER!!
this is my messy book sehelves. if you haven't noticed i love jewelery. OH and Egypt ^_^ i have my Bast which lol i go tin Germany lol and my Anubis which i got from a friend. then there the Egyptian Papyrus painting on the wall straight from Egypt. my grandparents didn't want it any more so i got it !! and the little wood dancer statue is from Cuba
Here i have my shadow boxes with stones form Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, and England. and fossil is a million years old and its form a quarry in Germany. a really cool place actually. the fans form Spain, and the little wood figure is from Germany as well. There are also two WWII cap brasses on the big Shadow box.
Oh did i mention that i love books!! Oh and if any of you were wondering about that weird shelf on the bookshelf that has a cloth on it its my little altar, seeing as I am Wiccan ^_^ I have soo many i mean there are books on my nightstand, in my drawers, in my closet, under my bed, in the attic, and on that bookshelf there are actually books behind those books lol.
anyways this is my room and my home and my brain lol yes this is my brain^_^ thought I'd share^_^ and i hope that these didn't come out to be really big and huge on the message board sad
anyways ^_^

I don't actually have any pictures of my room, not that it's very 'worldy' anyways. Unless of course if you count Mickey Mouse as a foreign mascot... then my room is very worldy.
Mickey Mouse, and Bookshelves. And boxes to hold more books.
Go me.

I know how you feel, I just got a bookcase and I can't believe I didn't sooner. I know what you mean. My bookcase is small and I wanted to exchange it for one of the tallers opnes we have, but my room is a bit too small for a towering bookcase. So some books are double-stacked on my bookcase and I keep books on my nightstand and floor. I think everyone who has books can sympathize actually.

ok so totally in love with your Samurai sword!! my boyfriend would probably be dieing if he saw that.... then again maybe not because he has quite a few himself, but still! I'm dieing from looking at that. i really need to get myself one! so so far from the first picture i love your room!

Thank you whee (did some of the emoticons go away eek ?) anyway yes, my good friend gave me that, i'm very proud of it and my bokken. and the 3 pronged ninja knife thingy question but Yeah I love my room too. I'ts not really worldy but homey and comfortable when i need time to be alone and think/brood.
