Sweeney todd is real. He was alive 150 years ago he killed 160 people intell he was caught and hung.I found my info from a book.

of course he is real theres no need to ask what with these dark times you yourself might want to watch your back the next time you enter a barber shop hoping for a shave you never know where or when he might make his appearance hehe
did you know that they used the story "sweeney todd" as a horror bedtime story to scare little kids in to behaving back then?
enough of this now you should just sit urself down and have a nice juicy meat pie twisted muhaha... surprised what?....i said nothing cool

Wow, I guess it must be true if they made a play about it. Just like Harry Potter was really real too. Where did you find this imfermation?

sweeney todd was a real barber and yes he did kill many people the pie part........not so much but sweeney was real he was up there with jack the ripper in fame

However, the story and the character are based upon several real-life incidents that involve barber's murdering someone and the bodies ending up cannibalized.
Yeah, it actually did happen a few times.

Operavampirate Sweeney Todd as an exact entity by that name did not exist... However, the story and the character are based upon several real-life incidents that involve barber's murdering someone and the bodies ending up cannibalized. Yeah, it actually did happen a few times.

Theres an article somewhere on the PBS website where British researchers found proof that the Sweeney Todd case was real....He did kill people who cam in for a shave and his accomplice did dispose of the bodies by turning them into cannibalistic treats....Two things are different though...He didn't go by the name Sweeney Todd and he killed for money not revenge.

But that just proves the point though-- he didn't go by the name of "Sweeney Todd". Sweeney Todd as an entity did not exist. There are millions of people in the world, all with similarities. They aren't the same person are they, just with different names?
