 Wantari lazed about, rather bored. Everyone was grown up and busy living their own lives. He was ready for a change in everything: scenery, faces, life.
Finally he became so bored that he actually did something about it. He slipped out of the family nest and began walking. Before he knew it he was at the clearing where he and Hime had parted ways. His paws carried him towards where he thought the spring and its clearing was. She was interesting, she could relieve the boredom the plagued him.
Finally he reached the spot, noticing the familiar spring and the fruit trees. He walked closer, peering about to see if she was there.

Indeed, Hime was there. She was sitting up on her favorite rock, leaning over the spring and gazing peacefully into the water at her reflection. In this reflection she spied a speck of dull blue. She turned her head to identify the owner of the reflection and was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar face.
"Wantari!" she cried, bounding over to where the male stood, but rather than stopping before him, she leapt upon him, using her front paws to hold down his upper body and pin the male to the ground. Grinning slyly down at him, she licked his black nose. "Notice anything different?" she asked in a sultry half-purr.

Wantari grinned when he saw her in the distance. As she began racing towards him he was slightly surprised, and as he found himself flat on his back he was in complete and utter shock. His eyes widened as she licked his nose and for a moment he was startled into silence.
Then his brain began to function again. She had asked him a question. He looked at her, trying to figure out the answer. "You're bigger than before?" His brain still wasn't fully functioning...it was the best he could do.

Hime laughed. "Well, yes, I suppose so. I'm all grown up -- how do you like me now?" With a playful wink she released Wantari and crawled off him, seating herself calmly on the ground next to him and wrapping her tail neatly about her feet.
She watched him balefully, taking in his form.

Wantari scrambled up after she got off of him. He looked over at her, taking her in now that he could really see her.
"You look lovely Hime," he answered quietly, looking down at his paws. He remembered that she preferred that he looked her in the eyes but he couldn't do it when it came to his. "How have you been?" His eyes darted back to steal another glance at her.

"That's more like it, Tari. And you don't look so bad yourself, you know." She smiled at him playfully. "I've been well. I decided to move out of the den and closer to the border, away from the family. How about yourself?" [I apologize for the tiny replies, but my brain's going "pfft". ._.;]

Tari? He thought to himself. It was different, but he didn't hate it...it would just take some getting used to. He didn't want to admit to her that even after being full grown for quite some time he was still living at home with all of his family. If just wasn't his way, he needed to be with others.
"I'm doing fine Hime." He answer, swift and too the point, hoping she wouldn't ask him more and find out how unchanged he really was. "I was a bit bored, already things are more interesting with you popping up."
Psh not all responses have to be long XD

"Heh." Hime smirked. "So Tari, do you live by yourself? Because, well..." She paused, trailing off momentarily as she considered how to word the next bit of her request. "Well, to be blunt, living alone is a drag, and I think it'd be fun if you at least moved closer to me, so we could see each other every day." She wondered that, if she'd worded the request as a demand, she'd get an automatic "yes, ma'am!"

"Actually," he looked away "I live with my family still...but if you'd like I could try very hard to come here every day to see you. Now that I know how to get here it shouldn't take too long."
He wasn't quite sure how well he'd manage living alone...he'd probably waste away from lack of eating or just never do anything. He felt a faint shiver as he thought about being alone.

Hime gazed at Wantari for a moment, thoughtful. "You could always stay with me?" she offered with a smile. "I like being with you more than being alone, and I could always help take care of you, you know, make sure you're always okay."

If he had been shy and a bit embarrassed before he was downright flustered now. His light blue cheeks felt as if they were glowing red.
"Oh no I couldn't impose on you in such a manner!" He exclaimed. "Besides," he looked down "it would seem a bit strange if I moved in there with you to others."
