What is pride? Pride is the cultivation, preservation or exalting of self. It is a protecting of self. Pride is commitment to self. It is building up ourselves in our own eyes or in the eyes of others. Pride is an excessive belief in one's superiority, worth, merit. Pride is a root cause of many sins. Confidence is assurance: freedom from doubt; belief in yourself and your abilities. Arrogance is overbearing pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors Conceited is vain and egotistic; having an excessively favorable opinion of one's abilities, appearance, etc Ego is an inflated feeling of pride in your superiority to others Vanity is amour propre: feelings of excessive pride Narcissism is self-admiration or self-love; a tendency to over-estimate one's abilities and importance.

All of these words will only describe you if your sin is pride. The greatest of sins you will be higher than all the rest. State your reason for having this sin and see if you have pride.

The reason for my pride is knowing that I am better than all especially in being attractive. I flaunt my looks taking in all the gazes of admiration and simply using it to feed my ego even more giving me infinite pride in myself.

Hmph, anyone in the right mind would know that I'm superior! Just look at me, I have perfect hair and perfect eyes! My writing talents are far beyond any other persons expectation of a young fourteen year old such as myself. If anyone would like to argue about this simply private message me, I guarantee I will win the argument.

I favor words such as "I", "me", "my", "mine", etc. One thing that will guarantee my attention is my reflection. I would rather sacrifice another than sacrifice myself (I'd have to contemplate whether I want to sacrifice a loved one...yes, I would have to think it over). I do not like to share, and I am insulted when others do not want to share with me. I do not like to give things back. I take pride in my knowledge of having the skill to put myself in other's shoes, put my big-girl panties on, suck it up and act like I'm not the proud b***h I am (just so it can all eventually lead to me getting my way).

my eyes are golden,
my hair is baby fine,
i love my size in shape,
my family is my home,
and that's what keeps me there

but in what i truly think i think it does!
i have done nothing more then good deeds, i certainly have donated to more than i should have,
i treat everyone the same!
even the ones i deeply love.

I have pride in the information I know...and what I try to progress to the rest of the public. I have a lot of pride in my music tastes and also I'm proud to be white (in a non-racist way completely)
