Bardou sniffed at the ground lightly, the night wind ruffling her white coat as she stepped over the rocks that scattered the base of the hill. Actually, they seemed to be ruins and so far her favorite little spot was at the tippy top of a sturdy, lone standing tower. She'd climbed all the way up there and peered down. It had made her so excited to feel that empowered that a pleasant tingling sensation ran through the Migan and soon, she was a bright finch sitting on the sill of the window. Eventually she had flown down and it had taken her a while to shift back into her right state of form. A light tingling went through her again but she willed her self to calm down before she was again, a finch. She shook off the feeling and began exploring her suroundings once again. It was quite the place, and she was entranced by it.

Sihu made her quiet way out of the forest, heading in no particular direction. Since her former leader's encounter with that Native girl and her companion Sibael, she hadn't been able to stay with her pack. No sooner had Otaktay released her has she wandered, looking for them. It seemed to be the only thing she could do, rather than sit still--that was an impossibility while she was so amped up, curious about just what might be outside her small world. All she knew was her pack, and her place as one of its protectors. It was an ideal place for her, considering she was quick to anger, usually shifting instantly into a creature much larger than even Sibael could ever hope to be when intruders were near. She heard the quiet tweet of a bird in the cool, damp night air, and she flattened her ears as she headed in that direction, despite the fact that Sihu hadn't heard the sound since...

Bardou couldn't hold her excitement when she found a wall covered in vines and crumbled in places. It wasn't the wall though, oh no, it was the beautifull, still intact fountain that was attatched to it that made her tingle and shrink, grow wings and fly to pertch on its ledge. The marble it was made of was still smooth, and though the fountain no longer pumped water it had this mornings rain in the bottom of it. She peered into it and looked at her reflection, tilting her head slightly at her reflection and chirping happily. The bottom of the fountain didn't look the cleanest so she wasn't gonna go in, but still, the fountain was a carving of a beautifull maiden pouring a bucket of water into the lake. SHe supposed the water came from the bucket and into the bowl part. Bardou twittered happily to herself, unaware that another of her kind were close by.

Sihu quickly saw the white and grey ruins that used to be a castle, she assumed, and she let out a tiny sigh. It was beautiful--and despite her hardness it took her breath away. She heard the chirping again from inside, and she padded up the cold stone steps to the side, and followed the sound to a wall, with a fountain attatched. Her ears drooped slightly, as she'd been hoping that, somehow, the bird was chirping because its space was being invaded, by the girl or her Sibael companion. Sihu went to the fountain anyways, climbing up to lay on the edge across from the small tweeting bird, her paw dipped in the water. "Sorry for invading your territory, little finch. I thought you were someone else." Her voice sounded a bit morose, but knowing the bird would likely not be able to reply, or even understand, she didn't care. Her eyes wandered to the woman, examined the intricacy of the fountain. It seemed odd to her that someone would put so much time in something they knew would soon be washed away by war or water..

Bardu stopped her chirping and looked at the Migan who was investigating her fountain. She twittered a little. How delightfull! The Migan didn't know what she was! Of course it thrilled her and she ruffled her feathers to show it. Side stepping away from the Migan and lost her footing in the prosess. She tumbled back wards and before she had time to spread her wings she was a Migan again. Her paws firmly on the stone floor she blinked at the darker she-migan.
