I'm thinking about quitting Gaia. I'm not sure if I should. It is a lot of fun on here and i'm just now making new friends and getting the hang of everthing. But it takes up a lot of time and energy and I am thinking about getting on the computer all the time. Any advice.....

Don't give it up all together ... it's one of the few things we have in common ... SIS ... besides you don't have to think about getting on the computer all the time ... just don't kick me off on my time to be on it ... lol

You don't have to quit entirely. Just go on every once in a while. You could find a new and interesting hobby to keep you occupied and away from the internet. Perhaps you could start a project of some sort to keep you busy. Just some suggestions.

Yep, don't let the computer run your life, take controll on your life. That way you don't feel the need to drop gaia.

yes everyone is pretty much right. don't quit. you just have to limit yourself. for instance put an alarm clock and set it to how much time you want to spend on the computer. when it goes off then you know that it's time to get off.

Find something more interesting to do.
Video Games work for me.
Then when you get bored, or want some alone time, go hop on your computer.
If that doesn't work...
Time yourself.
Only give yourself an hour a day.

it's okay to be on every day just limit the amount of time you're on per day.i don't stay online for more than 2 hours a day myself.

ya i still on gaia. I really like it. its a lot of fun and its nice to use it as an escape from reality. Anyway thanks to all who encouraged me to stay. Hope to hear from you all in the future.
