I've been struggling with it for YEARS.
I've had temporary solutions before. Over the counter creams and stuff that clears it up for like a week, but then my skin seems to get used to it and breaks out again.
The way I deal is I wash my face a lot to prevent it from getting too greasy and gross, then I use whatever product I have at the time. I never leave the house without first putting on makeup. It doesn't completely hide it but it does make everything less red and noticeable.
Besides that you could see if you can talk to your doctor about solutions. My brother had to see a dermatologist because his acne was INSANE but his face is looking a million times better these days.
Good luck. =)

MATE. FEED.
I've got it. But... it's not very noticeable any more. I mean, occasionally I'll get a nasty red one, but it's mostly just hidden stuff that looks like my normal skin color. Lucky me.
KILL. REPEAT.

>Yeah, I have zits too.< >.>;; >I heard that if you put this hydrogen peroxide on a cotten ball and wash it over your skin and shizz that it clears your pores or something and sometimes when you're done, there's dirt on the cotton ball.< O.O;; >Sounds gross, and your face does smell a little bad for a few minutes, but I always try that, even if it is useless.< >I also have this BenzaClin I use.. < >And then I also wash my face a lot.< >It sounds liek a lot.. But not really.< >It works a little.< >It also helps not to touch your face a lot.< -nod-

Lemon juice worked for my brother. He said it burned, but it made the acne go away in a few days.

I have acne, but the only time it gets really bad is when I'm on my period. Then I look like a pepperoni pizza gonk Well.. lately, I've been washing my face with Proactive and it's help quite a lot. My face got really clear the first day and I was happy. Another thing I would recommend is to just make sure you wash your face with something really good when you wake up and before you go to bed. ^^
@shadow:: I've heard about the toothpaste one before, but I wasn't sure if I should do it in fear of a disastrous break out. XD

Sounds from the distant world Just barely reach my ears All the screaming, bloody crowds that flash across the news Become no more than words I used Proactive too. It really does work. It kind of burns, and once it starts to work, I'd advise keeping it off your cheeks unless you want to look sunburnt... And it's quite fun to get the Proactive out of the fancy and exciting vending machine in the malls. And if there isn't one of those near you, it still works... {the vending machine thing was rather random, wasn't it? My apologizes}nomore than facts My heart has sold it's tears For the audacity of fear Lost in the sound it's own rythmic heartbeat

really? proactiv really works? their commercials are quite annoying, but i'll suggest to my mum to buy it. my zits are gradually going away, but new ones keep popping up.. argh.. k.o. i wanted them all gone by day one of school, but that didn't happen..

It does @_@
I actually washed my face with some of the remaining Proactive I had last night, and my face was much clear, minus a few on my chin (they were shrunk to a smaller, less noticeable size.)
It does work really well, but it does leave your cheeks red, as promise said.
