In sight of the sea and surrounded by the cawing of gulls, the smell of fish and sea fare wafting through the air and the bustle of people mark the town square as the center of activity.

Geo walks slowly through the crowd of people. It was apparent that the religious gatherings were just ending for the day and everyone was out and about running thier errands, getting food and the like. It was a busy day indeed. He made his way over to fountain and had a seat on the edge. His cloak mostly covered him save his hands and feat and he held onto a very gnarled bit of wood he used as a staff.

*Sexeya sliped out of the portal's entrance in Narean and headed to the town square. It was a bustling day and the sea smelled fresh. She walked around, studying the people she passed wondering if she could find a mark. As she came towards the fountain she saw a peculure man hidden all up in his cloak. She stopped and studied him a bit longer. He seemed interesting, maybe she could have some fun with him. Smiling at him,in a childish voice she spoke*

Lifting his head he looks at the young lady who had just addressed him. He smiles to her and nods. "Indeed a fine afternoon it is." Geo replied. "Wonderful breeze, sun smiling down on our shoulders. The sort of thing most folks live for I'd say." Even this far into the conversation, something struck the young lady as familiar about this man.

*Sexeya moves closer to the man, now standing right infront of him. She takes in his staff and frames a question* Are you a traveler? *She nods at the staff to indicate where her question comes from*

Geo laughs a little to himself. "Actually I am. But to simply say that I'm a traveler doesn't quite do it justice." He pauses a moment "What I mean by that is, would you call the wind a wanderer? Or perhaps storm clouds on a rainy day, would you call them travelers? I settle down no longer than the wind or the clouds really." His amber eyes hit hers with an arched eyebrow and she manages a glimpse at a bit of his tangled hair beneath the hood.

*She now takes a seat beside him, looking into his hood she had gotten a glimps of firey hair. Closer he smelled earthen so her nose had an odd mixture of earth and sea* Why do you travel so? It must get lonely if you don't settle down and make friends.

With a slow nod Geo responds. "Well my dear it's all a matter of who you may or may not consider to be a friend. I make acquaintances as I go and I share stories with those I meet along the way. It is very rare to find a patch of earth so untouched as not to find civilization any more. The world's gotten much smaller over the years sad to say. But that's not to say that I don't have companions with me. Even now."

*Sexeya nodded. She liked the civilization. She liked having so many places to go and always being surrounded by the strange and funny humans that gave her such enjoyment. But this man seemed saddened by the fact. Maybe he liked his solitude and that's why he didn't settle down. He liked just his brief glimpses with the rest of the civilized world.
She blinked at the last. He had companions now? Did he have a pet maybe that she could not see? Maybe a bird that would fly back or a mouse he kept in his pocket? Or did he mean her?* What do you mean that you have companions with you now?

First he looks down to his feet, then up to the sky, behind him, and finally to her. "The spirits of the world, of the elements. They're always with me. With everyone, but sadly fewer and fewer people seem to have an ear for what the world has to say, or perhaps everyone else is too busy now trying to make their own voice stand out above the crowd that they can not hear the ones around them."

*So he was an elementalist. That made him more interesting. There was something about him though. He reminded her of someone and it made her mouh water.* I've met people like that before. They do tend to live more solitary lives, but do not forsake people. Don't you miss a woman's touch? *with the last she places a hand gently on his leg*

Slowly Geo brought his eyes to hers. "In a manner of speaking, there isn't much left of me to miss it." He gently ran finger tips across the back of her hand. His fingertips were smooth. Too smooth, and cold as stone as well. "That side of me wanted to pursue passions of a different kind than this side, a different kind than what your referring to as well."

*She stared into his eyes, they were so clear and deep. When his hand brushed hers, her eyes fell to them and a slight shiver ran through her. A thought flashed through her mind that it wasn't flesh that touched her. She raised her eyes back to his slowly and studied his hooded face. She spoke softly, almost like she were in a trance* What passions are you pursuing?

Geo took a moment and then responded "To live as a part of earth. To listen to what the world has to say and learn from the wealth of knowledge it possesses. I'm simply a student of teachings no one else seems to hear or know about."

*If he wanted to live as part of the earth, then his sorrow before made sense. Also his lack of human companionship. Though he was open enough to talk about it now. She bet she could still make him miss a woman's touch, though at the thought his hands came back into her mind, their odd smoothness and chill* They must have a lot to say.
