Taka had left the Nchi lands, out into what could be considered the roguelands, but she was still relatively near the border to her pride. She remembered leaving for her drum quest and becoming disoriented, but now her sense of direction in the area was very keen. The firekin border was always in her mental map when she decided to stray from her pride. She had gotten lucky those many moons ago, but she didn't tell anyone. She had met a firekin and gotten away. If she ever met Spaki, who had been so kind as to send her off with a stern warning, under the proper conditions again, she would thank him. It was a lesson she had learned well.

Staying far enough away from the Firekin border, Taka wandered a bit further out into the roguelands, tail swishing lightly behind her. The lioness hummed a tune as she wandered out, keeping a pink eye peeled for strangers, someone friendly she could talk to.

Eyal padded along the rouge lands, his green eyes seeking. He had so far come up empty on finding any females to further his pride. His golden pelt reflected the sun as he stalked through the grass. He made no indication that he waned to be hidden in the tall grasses. He was getting frustrated and worried if he'd have to return to his pride empty handed.

The male suddenly lifted his head, arching an eyebrow. There ahead of him was a darker golden color female with interesting cream stripes. His tail twitched in interest as he watched her go about her business. She seemed friendly enough. Maybe she could at least direct his search and narrow it.

He followed after her keeping his distance. "Hello." He calls out, his voice deep and a bit rough. "Could you spare a moment?"

Taka's ear gave a twitch at the sound of a voice. She turned around to have her eyes fall on... A rather handsome male. He didn't look to be a firekin at all, so she relaxed a bit. She padded back towards him and tried to see if she could recognize him at all... But to no avail, she'd never seen him before. She couldn't help but notice, as she had at first glace, the male's striking appearance.

"I could," She said in response to his question. "My name is Jua Na-Taka, or just Taka for short." She said, expression softening. If Taka had inherited one single thing from her mother (or perhaps her father) it was flirtatiousness. In the Pride males were friends, not options. Out here... Not so much. Just like her mother.

"What do you need?" She asked with a gentle tilt of her head.

The male lion studied the female as she approached him. She looked strong and she was the first female he'd come upon for some time. He dipped his head in greeting, his tail flickering with interest.

He wasn't very charming but he had studied his pride leader, Rotem. He had learned a lot from the other lion in the ways of 'wooing' women. He puffed out his chest and put on a fairly decent smile. "A pleasure to meet you, Jua Na-Taka." He had a thing about using one's full name. To him it was more respectful. "I am Eyal. I'm from a pride far off, toward the setting sun."

He padded closer, inspecting her with a curious eye and not bothering to hide it. "I was going to ask for directions but I believe I'm where I need to be." He noted that her eyes were a pink color and tilted his head. He'd never seen eyes like that. "Your eyes are..." He wasn't one for compliments but if it was for the pride, he would do it. "... beautiful." He believed them to be but he had trouble voicing his feelings. This was awkward for him but everything he says is full of confidence.

"Nice to meet you, Eyal," she said with a little dip of the head. He seemed... to be getting into this too! Taka had picked up her mother's natural charms, though she couldn't help but ponder to herself where his pride was. As far as she knew, the only thing to the west was the lake, she'd never stopped to think what else could be beyond it, or around it. Apparently, his pride.

She had no problems with him inspecting her, it was all part of flirting, as far as she was concerned. She'd gained her mother's perspective on these things.

"I see. Well then, What is it you seek on the borders of the Nchi'Mahadhi pride?" She asked, pushing herself a little closer to him without hesitation. Were these skills inherited? It was uncanny how like her mother Taka was.

"Thank you," she said softly to his compliment, uncertain for the first time in this encounter. Did the girl typically re-compliment the guy?

Of course not, she should get showers of compliments, why not? The golden lioness's mind couldn't stop returning to one feature of Eyal's... He seemed like... well, honestly, like a hunk. That body was to die for, of course Taka was going to comment!

"You look pretty strong, do you train or something, Eyal?" She asked, sitting down and running her eyes over him once, pleased that she'd run into such a good-looking lion.

Eyal gave a flick of his right ear. "The Nchi'Mahadhi Pride?" He questioned. He observed her move closer but didn't flinch. Instead he just kept his stare even, assessing her every movement. "I am searching for recruits for my pride." It wasn't a total lie.

He returned her thanks with a dip of his head. When she mentioned his strength however, something changed in his eyes. He stood up taller, his eyes blazing with pride and glory. "I spend all of my time training, my fair maiden."

He responded in his booming, rough voice. "I am Eyal, Warrior Chief of the En Gedi Pride." He gave a bit more detail into the introduction. It was obvious he prided himself in his position.

He tightened his muscles to allow them to show. His strength was what he valued most. He was fully aware of his eyes on him and made sure she had plenty to look at. "What, may I ask, is such a astounding lioness doing out here without even an escort?"

Taka could've drooled from the overload of muscles that the lion had. She could've but she didn't, that would've been more than unattractive. He looked even better when he was taking pride in himself! She'd just have to keep the conversation going that way. She'd never heard of that pride, but that was alright with her. Taka had no suspicions about the male, whether she should have or not was yet to be known, but she was pretty sure that he wasn't a danger to her.

"Warrior Chief; sounds impressive," the golden lioness said sincerely. "Seems fitting to me," she said.

Taka blushed at his comments under her fur. "I'm not doing much, just hanging out... Looking for a fun time, you know?" She asked with a wink. A hint, and a bit of permission, if Eyal picked up on it. The more she was around him... the more attractive the golden male got. He was quite the piece of eye candy, with a nice voice to boot. For him, she was more than happy to drop a few hints.

"I'm the strongest in the pride." He responded with a nod. "I train all the males to be great fighters." The compliments were one way to get him riled. He couldn't help but want to prove his strength or at least show it off. He'd trained for a long time.

He perked up, a smirk going across his face. He stood and gave her a brush with his shoulder. "Perhaps I can aid you with that?" He offered starting to walk forward. He glanced back at her, his red tail flickering like a banner. "Of course that also depends on what you have in mind for a fun time."

Things were finally picking up, for which Taka was glad for. She'd had a bit of an itch... for this kind of thing for a while. Quite a while. She wasn't exactly looking forward to the cubs that would result, seeing as how Hakuna was always separating her from her sister (and he wasn't even her cub!) Still, she could remedy that later...

"I think you know the kind of fun I mean," she said, leading him on, leaning in a little bit. "Besides, a small break from your training couldn't hurt, right? It's only one night..." And if that didn't make things crystal clear for him, she didn't know what would beyond actually spelling it out.

Eyal smirked. So his plan had worked... however, he never liked letting someone get something without earning it first. He pretended to look appalled. "Forget my training?" He questioned, a grin going over his maw. "I doubt I could..."

He stepped away from her and stretched, wiggling his hindquarters in the air. "I'm after all..." He said lazily pulling himself out of it and hunkering down. "My training is my life." He pounced, gracefully, displaying his sheer power. He landed on his feet again, sliding into a defensive position in a second. It was obvious he had earned his title as Warrior for a reason. "You might have to convince me to stop."

Taka watched him pounce around. He wanted to play a little first, huh? Fine, that could be fun... Taka herself leapt onto a nearby rock. She had turned into a somewhat decent huntress, and the grace that such a job required was shown from herself in her own pounce. She moved with a smooth, liquid-like quality; it helped that she knew a bit about dancing too, it helped to smooth out her movements.

"Yes, I know how that feels..." she said. "Being so devoted to something. But certainly a little step out of the box can't hurt," she said temptingly.

Eyal was drawn to her movements. He had chosen correctly. She was a powerful huntress just as he'd hoped. He let the accomplishment show in his face as he started to move toward her. "Oh is that so? Well then... perhaps I should ask you one one gets out of such a box." He started to move around her, his green eyes never leaving hers. "Of course you still have yet to convince me that leaving my box is going to have good results..." If only Rotem could see him now! Surely the results would be enough evidence.

Taka took a smooth, large stride towards him, bringing her to within inches of those tantalizing emerald eyes. "It's quite simple, you see," she said in a soft voice, with the proper tone to make anyone quiver with pleasure. "All you need to do to get of that box is to make a move, it'll be a cinch," she said in the same tone.

"As for the results..." she paused, mock-pondering, "Can be yours, if you want them, or you can leave them with me if you don't." She assumed he'd want them, seeing as he said he was seeking those to be recruited. She assumed that he understood, results=cubs. Taka was not quite yet ready to devote her life to little ones, she decided. However, if he didn't want them, she'd take them. Anything at this point to get herself a piece of Eyal.

"Well stud? What's it gonna be?" She asked more quietly than before, voice just above a whisper. "C'mon, join me outside of that box for a little while..."

The male stared into her pink eyes, a shudder going through him. "Make a move him...?" He responded, mauling over what that move should be.

At the mention of the results he smirked to himself. "I'd be willing to take them." He started to circle her, his tail flickering. He wanted the cubs. He knew not to let his emotions get get in the way. The act was just necessary but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy himself all the same.

He took a careful step in front of her, his glimmering. "Consider me outside of my box." He purred, licking her muzzle.

Taka purred and licked his muzzle back, once he considered himself free to do as he pleased. "That's amazing to hear. I know of the perfect spot, I can show you what it's like to be out of your little box there..." She was too close to borders for comfort, how awkward would it be if her mother showed up there? Or worse, her half-brother!

Yes, they needed to get farther away, and quickly, Taka was growing restless for this. She started off that way and flicked her tail as she passed him, signaling for him to follow. Tonight was going to be a good night.
