just wanted to post this information after finding it in one of the forums that i found, was worried after buying thousands of inks last night for pennies a bottle, to find that my account is frozen to sell in the market or to trade... so i wanted to pass this information on to my guild friends...

Game Item ErrorsJuly 15th, 2008

Currently there has been a glitch that has resulted in some users accidentally having many game items. This should not have happened, and these items should not be spent or traded away, and instead you should keep them secure on your inventory. If users did deliberately take these items and use them for profit when it is clear that they were not legitimately earned on the site, then this is indeed a serious concern, and will need to be dealt with accordingly.

However, if someone did sell them and you purchased them legitimately, then you have nothing to worry about. It may happen that your trades will be disabled, but this is simply so that we can contain the scope of the problem and possibly reverse trades later on, depending on how we proceed.

Please be patient, and stay tuned for a more official notification from Gaia regarding these issues. ^^

...yea i am in the middle of the whole, locked market / trade business myself.. i hope it is resolved soon so that i am able to capitalize on the monthly collectibles being released today, however, after reading the post in the forum i am starting to doubt it highly...

yea im pretty screwed too if you guys saw my post in the red ink thread. i thought i just scored big time. i didnt know there was a glitch so of course i was reselling to make a profit before i found out i was locked out this morning. thats when i found out about the glitch. i dont know what going to happen with me but i purchased my ink for 100k on the market as my picture shows so it wasnt just something that happened into my account and tried to sell. i dont know if i will lose all my ink that i got or the black and red body dye that i happened to make. i will say i thought it odd that there was this much ink being sold but i figured it was a major hoarder so didnt think twice.

im one of the ppl that has a blocked account due to yesterdays glitch but im also a parent in real life so i was hoping to speak with an admin seriously about what happened. just for my own information, ive been trying to find out what is being done about our accounts because me, my wife and our kids accounts have all been blocked due to this. i purchased black in on the market for extremely cheap but this was before i found out this morning that there was a glitch. i just thought it was someone who hoarded though the amount i got did seem a bit unreal. yes i did turn around and started selling them back because i didnt know about this but everything i get i use to buy items for everyone in my family that plays on gaia. what im wanting to know is for those of use that were unaware about what was happening, is our accounts going to be reset to how it was before i had made the purchase? as a computer person myself, i know you guys can go into the system to trace back everything that happened and i really do feel sorry for those of you that have to try and clean all this up. i just want to make sure that i dont lose all my items ive had and worked hard to get prior to purchasing black ink last night. please let me know and im willing to provide any information that you may need.

our trades are still blocked... 2-3 weeks to fix that is a bunch of bs
