http://gamenewsi.com/index.php?itemid=22569&catid=1Certainly not "true" horror so much as a tongue-in-cheek parody with Lovecraft references and such, but it's still probably worth mentioning. That and Vigo creeped the ******** out of me when I was a kid. I'm guessing it may work in some of Ramis' and Akroyd's script for a 3rd movie involving the Ghostbusters going to Hell.....

Yeah, personally I wouldn't put it with horror. But aside from Silent Hill Homecoming and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, there's no other game that I'm looking forward to more than Ghostbusters. This was one of my absolute favorite franchises when I was a kid (The Real Ghostbusters cartoon show) then when I saw the movies, I loved it even more. And although I though the very first Ghostbusters for NES was a fun game, I'm really glad to see this franchise make a comeback. With the original cast, non the less.

I had no idea this was in the works till I saw it on the E3 coverage. I am so excited for it and love the fact that all the original actors are going to be doing the voices. I am with Bio on this one, definitely a game I am looking forward to.

I wonder if you'll be able to customize the appearance of your character. I mean, you do play as like, the new guy in Ghostbusters, so it would be cool if you could make yourself look like... Well, yourself.

From what I saw it looks like you just play the character that you are given. Perhaps that was just for the hands on demo, I didn't hear anything about customizing or anything.

On the G4 coverage of E3 they interviewed someone who was working on the game. He said that they modeled the character after him, so no physical customization I would assume. They did say that his role was to test all new and possibly dangerous gadgets though. Hopefully there will be some creative tools.

Hopefully there will be lots of dialogue. If they screw up the gameplay elements and the game plays buggy or jittery or whatever, a decent storyline and Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis' voice acting could save it.

You may have heard not too long ago but Ghostbusters lost it's publisher (********) not too long ago when they decided to just drop it like a bunch of douchebags. Fortunately, Atari has picked it up :3 http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3170667

I think I just lost 5 respect points for Activision. How the hell you gon' drop Ghostbusters!? I was wondering why the release date got pushed back so far. May 09, is it?

Yeah, it was really good to finally hear some voice work from the legendary four. If the gameplay mechanics are at least half decent, then this is gonna be one amazing title.

The general consensus from folks who've had a chance to play the demo seems to be that it's pretty fun so far but let's see if they can make the whole game fun, yeah?

Well, it's important to stay positive. I mean, just because this generation of games is riddled with the biggest ratio of overhyped disappointments, doesn't mean this'll be one.
