The newest street biker 3nodding
Who is it you ask?????????????
its ME......YES me!!!
Friday at 12:30 i`m going to pick up my new toy.
A 1992 Kawasaki Ninja250
getting for $700!
Needs a little work here and there, nothing major though
Just like Turn signals, paint, new Keys/locks(that's the biggest thing it needs)
It runs, and runs AWESOME,revs with out hesitation,idles back down fast, idles smoothly, starts up fast.
Doesn't look to bad, the engine covers look good(not like its been dropped)
the body..the side and lower fairings are not there(Street fighter)
Has new rear wheel/tires
looks like a new sprocket/chain
new brakes
recovered seat
The ghey mud flap thing is GONE!!!!(doesn't look like a scooter)
has a Yoshi. pipe
Does not smoke, sounds really good
the only cosmetic is on the tank..where a screw popped the inside lining and gas leaked out,peeling the paint
But YAY my first street bike!
And it sits ALOT different then the `07 ninja 500R and 250R
I`ll post up ALOT oh pics Friday when i get home with it

It's called a fender, lol. Not gay mudflap thing. Sounds like they put on a Competition Werks Fender Eliminator.
The 500 is more straight up and for taller riders like me it's a lot comfier then a little 250.
Congrats on your first sportbike though. Welcome among us. biggrin

Karasu Mad Bomber It's called a fender, lol. Not gay mudflap thing. Sounds like they put on a Competition Werks Fender Eliminator.
The 500 is more straight up and for taller riders like me it's a lot comfier then a little 250.

Lol but it looks ghey...But yea he put something there cuz the plate is on where it should be.
I`ve sat on
`07 ninja 500R
`08 ZX-6R
`08 Gixxer 1k
`08 R6
`00`s Ninja 500R *used*
`00`s Ninja 250R *used*
and a few cruisers
But out of all of them the gixxer, ZX-6R and the `92 ninja i just sat on where the most comfortable *though i guess i am fairly small 132LB, 5'6"-7" 31-32" inseam...*
But yea, i`m SOOO excited!!!!
And the cool part is, i`m only having to borrow $225 from Mom & Dad to pay for it pirate
Too bad i wont be able to ride for at least another month.....
Now i gotta get a job to pay for all the gear i need

I'm 6'3" so yeah 250 would've been too short for me. Lol.
That's right on dude. Get working for that gear! Lol. I like Icon myself even if their hooligan pants did kinda rip a little when I crashed.

i`ll probably end up with a mix of gear
IE:
Alpinestar
Joe rocket(Awesome stuff)
Tour master
Tecnik
Nitro
You know stuff like that.
And most likely a KBC, Vega or may be going up to jegs and pick up one of the Drag helmets(DOT and whatever Snell rating NHRA requires)

I use Shoei for my helmets, that's what I'd recommend.

Man I'm so jealous!
I wanna go out riding too!!!
A buddy at school aparently has a Suzook 750, and is willing to let me ride it. O_o
With all this bike talk, I'm going to have to take him up on that offer!
But congradulations man. I hope that bike teaches you plenty smile

And i have not ridden since the 15th of last month xp xp
