It was fairly dark out, the sun had just disipeared over the horizon. The full moon however was still very bright, so Katrina could see everything very clearly. She sighed as she looked into the pond. Her reflection made her so sad, everything was perfect, except, she had forgotten to put on mane glitter this morning. She stomped her foot in frustration, and pawed through the little bag her father had given her. Still no mane glitter. He had promised he would pick her up some next time he went near a town. He still hadn't, and now Katrina was glitterless, and very angry.

The cinnamon skinned stallion glowed with a sort of primal rage tonight. He had not had the chance to talk to Isis this night, and it had made him exceptionally grumpy. His pelt was Honey colored over his own skin..As if it was hiding some dark secret underneath it. Though the pelt gave away the secret.. He was a Skinwalker, and a clever one at that.
He did not think in rage..He thought in tactic. He liked to tease and play, and hurt the other mentally.. Physical hurt was just much too easy for him.
His amber wolf eyes glittered in the darkness,as his nose was sniffing the air as he continued to walk. His fangs danced out from the safety of his lips, and he gave a small grin, which looked more like a snarl.
"Fee, Fi, Fo Fum..I smell the blood of a nice, ripe...Mare." He said, raising his head and speaking in a low growl.

Katrina heard a low noise somewhere in the night, and she narrowed her eyes. It could be one of three things, a wolf, a skinwalker, or a harmless animal. She gauged the chances and decided it was probably a wolf famaliar. She tossed her head and turned her back on where she had heard it. Even if it was a skinwalker, there really wasn't anything she could do about it now. What would screaming and running do, wake the nonexistant neighbors. She continued searching through the little bag for the mane glitter.

The wolf deep inside him was alerted to the smell..and he took a deep breath, before exhaling and walking almost silently towards the alluring scent.
His ears perked, and his fangs gleamed in the moonlight. His golden orbs were of the hunter, and they were confidant in their soon to be conquest.
His head lowered in a stalking position, and he smiled, giving a huff as she seemed to be digging in her bag.
"Your eyes do not work when theyre dwelling in a bag." He growled from the shadows.

Katrina felt a jolt of fear run down her spine. There was a skinwalker in the bush, no doubt about it. But really, what could she do now? As this thought crossed her mind she felt all the panic leave her, and she said haughtily, "Well, how else am I supposed to find my mane glitter, Mr. Skinwalker?" She continued searching through her bag, and with a whinny of glee pulled out the mane glitter. She shook it onto herself, with the thought that, if she was to die, at least she would be beautiful.

Mares like these disgusted him..It was why he had been so..so very attracted to Isis. His wolf nature, would keep her as his 'mate'..But not out of love, out of respect and desire. Isis was easy to desire..
His grin turned to a growl as he watched the glitter fall onto the mare's mane, and he gave a slight growl.
"Mane glitter.. I don't think I'll allow you to live.." He said nodding. "Im saving the world..Look at me, Hell's darkest doing the world a favor to rid them of Mane glitter."
He truly hated the stuff..It got in his nose and made it itchy..That sucked.
"But you can give me a reason I should let you live..Make things interesting." He nodded. "Never been one to enjoy the pleasure of a kill without a plea or something first." He grinned.

Katrina raised an eyebrow, and said, "I prefer to think of mane glitter as a gift of the gods, to make poor looking soquili pretty, and the pretty, marveleous." She couldn't help a small tingle of fear run down her spine, but recoiled in horror when she saw the skinwalker's claws. She screached, "Oh my gawd! Your claws are so filthy, you really should get a pedicure sometime." She turned her head away from the aweful sight, "And your pelt, really, haven't you ever heard of shampoo and conditioner?" She eyed his teeth, and added, "And a little minty freshness wouldn't hurt." She made a face, "I can smell you from here."

So her means of pleading was going to be to antagonize him? Oh her chances were running out..
"You watch your vile tongue girl, or that will be the first to go." He snarled, and leapt towards her only once, just to prove his point.
"I shall enjoy eating you..truly."

Katrina flinched as the Skinwalker jumped at her, then a cunning idea came into her mind, and she said, "Oh, I would pity the skinwalker who ate me, wouldn't you?" A devious smile settled on her face, maybe she could talk her way out of this, just maybe. She dug back into the bag and dumped the whole thing of coat contidionar onto herself, followed by the entire jug of hoof polish, and then the entire jug of mane glitter. Now, she was covered in goop, and mane glitter, from head to tail. She smiled prettily at the skinwalker.
