The little filly lived up to her graceful, beautiful name. She was a sweet young girl, with the spirit of the happiest thing you could imagine. Her billowy white mane matched the clouds, as did her tail, except her tail was tinged in a chocolate brown.
Her eyes were the gold of her fathers, and she looked much like a cat wtih the gleam that followed them.
Her wings were soft,fluffy, and curled against her body. The stars upon her pelt dancing as if they belonged in the sky.
She stuck her toungue out from the side of her mouth in concentration, and narrowed her eyes, wrinkling her nose.
She was staring at a fallen tree that she had been trying forever to jump over..Well today, today she was going to try again.
She dug her tiny hooves into the earth, and propelled herself forward with a loud,
"Wheee!"
She leapt up over the earth, and flapped her wingswith grace and with a 'Swoop!'
She was over it, but just barely.
Her rear fell just as she cleared it, and she fell with a great Plop.
But her smile was large.
"I did it!"

  Symphony propelled herself through the air with graceful wing thrusts. She had been spending much more time in the sky than usual. She loved how she was free to do as she pleased, and as she pleased was what she did. The clouds were white and fluffy today, and she swooped in and out of them, in and out. She felt cloud dew on her nose, and licked it off. She sang to herself, "Cloudy and fresh, with just a touch of honeeeeEEYYY!" Her voice was beautiful, and she knew it.
Veln, her ferret famaliar, who was gripping onto her back, sang an octave lower, perfectly in tune. His low rocking voice compleatly matched up with Symphony's, which was a reason they were so drawn to eachother.
She could hit a pitch so high that almost none could hear it. Her tail feathers streamed out behind her, and dipped and swooped in a dance of their own. She peered down below, and to her delight, saw a small dot on the ground. It was a smaller dot than most, so it must be a foal! Ears forward with excitement, Symphony dropped from the sky like an arrow, and folded her wings in to get more speed.
She could feel Veln gripping into her back with needlesharp claws, but it didn't bug her in the least. Just audible, she heard him yell, "Sym, I really HATE it when you do this!"

The sound went so high, Dove looked up quickly as if expecting to be bombed where she stood.
It was a very high pitch, and Dove didn't really know that a Soquili could go that high, so she naturally wanted to know what the sound was.
Her nose sniffed, and she saw the bird dancing in the sky, something clinging to its back for dear life.
No, that was a Soquili. How could she have thought that the mare was a bird.
She giggled and cocked her head, jumping in place a bit and dancing.

Symphony swooped out of her glide, barely an inch from the ground, she turned to look at Veln, and saw the ferret had saucer large eyes, and he looked like a puffball. She burst out laughing, and settled down on the ground near the other winged foal. She stuck a wing out to the ground, and howled with laughter as Veln tottered off her back onto the wing, and rolled to the ground. She stuck her nose in his face, and said, "Oh come on, you know you liked it!"
Veln, feeling rather drunk and shaken, batted Symphony's nose away, and yipped, "No, you just like to think I do." He got to his feet with a small scowl, and clambered back onto Symphony's back.
