Is there any technique to spinning b/c i am so bad at it its not funny...

hmm well it really depends on your instructor's techniques. I know that at my school we work to not wrap our thumbs but to push with them to keep it from turning in our hands while spinning. really and truly just practice ON BOTH HANDS and work through the awkward stages. when i learned rifle i would just do four spins on each side and then stop it and do the other side, back and forth, continuously. good luck ^_^

one technique my guard has to work on pitches, is to spin like an inch away from a wall, so if u have one it will hit the wall and u will need 2 fix it.
and practice! lots and lots of practice
