This is a no brainer... Red Dot. If you put on an ACOG people will laugh at you... Very hard.

Some people put ACOG on a sniper so they don't have to steady their aim. I grabbed an ACOG Barrett .50 cal in a Deathmatch once and got an easy 13 kills before I died. Also, ACOG on an M16A4 or M14 is pretty good. Now maybe if you put ACOG on a mini-uzi like my friend then it's a different story.

Alot of people dont like an ACOG scope scope is only because of the accuracy. Just put it on an accurate weapon like the first sniper or the G36. Also the M4. Just put it on an accurate gun and you will be fine.

The only guns I say should have it are: M16 G36C M4(Maybe) M14 M40A3 M21 R700 M82A2

I'd say for most automatic guns I'd go with red dot,
thogh I havent used the ACOG Scope before,
except once when I picked up an M14 ( believe) in this one match,
and got a pretty easy kill with it,
though I still go with Red Dot

I did a cage match once using an ACOGed golden uzi, silenced M9, Flash x3, Sonic Boom, and Iron Lungs.
Worked out a lot better than I thought.
In a serious game though, the best thing to ACOG is a sniper rifle, Skorpion, or AK-47.

It's just way 2 inaccurate for me Depends on the gun. Single-fire guns are spot-accurate with ACOG, fully auto depends on what you use. Uzis and M60s are more difficult to ACOG, because they bounce around a LOT, which means you have to aim to the left and below your target to hit them, wasted effort. All in all, it's personal preference. If it works for you, it works.

i always use red dot, my problem with sniping with acog scopes is that you don't get as far a view.
