Hi! I go by Isaki, and I'm 18, but look like I'm 12. n.n
Lemme say a few things. Currently I am a full time decora and lolita.
Back in 6th grade I was preppy, then in 7th I was gangster, 8th was my punk/goth year, and it went on from there, 10th rolled around and I was sick of trying to be like evryone else, so I decided I was, well, everything!!! I wasn't a decora, but a mixed-up style of my own and got lots of looks and comments. LOL '^^ Then one day my mom showed me the Fruits books at a bookstore and I fell in love with the various Harajuku styles. There are soooo many!!! And all so original than anywhere else in the world. I wore A LOT of black at the time and dispised the color pink with a passion, but slowly I started to wear other colors and ease into decora. Lolita was easy since I had always loved the aristocrat and gothic attire. But one has to start off somewhere. I'm out of highschool now and I do as I please and am SO proud of it!!! It deffinatly will take time to get used to all the BAM color and accesories! And one must be strong to be different. A lot of people may look down at you, but after awhile, I started to see people I never talk to stand up for my individuality, it was amazing and I was startled at them. They'd neverdress like me, but they loved how I could be different and not like anyone else. Now I can wear nothing but pink once in awhile when my bestfriend wants me to look like a strawberry shortcake, but I personally love the rainbow look and I wear a lot of blk and wht and red when I do lolita. I even wore a lolita dress as my senior prom dress thes past May. So, don't EVER be ashamed to be who you are, NO MATTER WHAT!!! <3 Hope this helped those who are questioning decora n.n
