Sage Techniques and Natural Chakra

Rules

Sage

1) There is only one way to become a sage, and that is to be approved by the Captain or Vice Captain.

2) There is to be only one sage per village, but while the sage and natural chakra specs are being beta-tested, this number will vary.

3) Since this will be a constantly-developing area, nothing is set in stone until the series ends or the MODS come to a consensus on something.

4) There can never be two sages of any type; this means that there may not be a sage of toads in Konoha and a sage of toads in Kiri. This also means that no two sages can exist in the same village. There can be a sage and an apprentice, but once the apprentice reaches sage maturity and their power comes to fruition, the elder sage must die.

5) All sages must be bound to a certain animal.

6) No OC above ANBU level can become a sage; particularly because of the amount of power sage mode gives the OC. It would be grossly unfair to give a Sannin, or even a Kage, the power of a sage.

7) There is to be no NPC sages. Only OC's (original characters) are allowed to become sages.

8 ) Once you choose to become a sage, you are no longer allowed to advance in rank. Meaning, if you become a sage at the level of Chuunin, you may no longer, and never, add the totals of rank advancement to your character's original totals. This means it would be wise to advance to a good rank, or attain good enough stats so you are not stuck at menial levels when not in sage mode.

9) This should be obvious, but to anyone who it isn't, the stats are not permanent. Like Sannin in the canon manga, sage is not an official rank, and the characters do not retain the stats while not in sage mode.

10) No OC may just start sage training. An OC wishing to become a sage must be accepted as a pupil by a current sage. The OC wishing to become a sage must either seek out the sage our be sought out by the sage.

11) All sage profiles and jutsu must be sent to Haku Needles for approval, even by other Captains.

12) Sages are not popular among the people, meaning that the sages usually keep the fact that they are a sage to themselves or a close circle of trusted ones that they can trust.

13) A complete list of summonings, what they do, and how they are summoned must be sent in along with the profiles to ensure that a summoning is not too entirely over-the-top.

14) Haku Needles reserves the right to deny or kill off any sages for any reason. But I will be lenient, except in the case of a sage misusing his/her power or god-modding.

15) There is a strict, one-per-person limit for sages. Meaning, once you create a sage, you are stuck with that sage until he/she dies. Basically, one sage per member of the Guild.

16) These rules will be subject to change.

Natural Chakra

1) Natural chakra may not be combined with any elemental or unnatural chakra such as the cursed seals.

2) Natural chakra is only used to create sage techniques, meaning you will have to be a sage in order to use it.

Stat Rules

1) All sages' stats are multiplied by 1.5 upon entering their stage one sage mode, and multiplied by 3 upon entering stage two, allowing retaining of stats.

2) The sage stats are only applicable while in sage mode.

3) Haku Needles will judge whether or not he thinks your sage is qualified to advance to stage two, if ever.

4) 100 CP per post is subtracted for stage one, and it is double that for stage two.

5) There is a 100 chakra subtraction for entering each stage. This is before the stat increase. If one is in stage one but does not have the chakra to enter stage two, then one can not enter stage two.

Sage Mode:

Stage 1: For all intensive purposes, stage one will be the stage in which Jiraiya was seen in, using his summonings to help him. A summon must be present to maintain this mode when during stage one.

Stage 2: For stage two, no summoning need be present, but they are allowed. Strict rules and regulations will apply to the summonings. Some more than others depending on the person sending them.
