Oh my gosh! I don't know too much about the Ouran High School Host Club.... but one day my friend and I were "surfing" on Youtube and we came across a couple of episodes from the first season. It's hilarious! I meant to pick some of the books up at the library, but I never got to it... this forum just reminded me of it; I'm going to have to go pick them up soon!

It's really cute! I love the characters, even if the plot is really repetitive and it drags out a lot. I think the humor and the characters completely make it worthwhile though... I love Hunny and Mori as a duo, they're awesome! And the twins are great, although I think they were better at the beginning than they are now.

Ninja Otaku Gurl Hunny is so kawaii! blaugh I think the show is better Iwas comparing the book and the show, the book has alot of different things it's pretty confusing. sweatdrop I think in some ways it's better suited to a show. Tamaki's monologues get kind of weird in manga form sometimes and some of the costumes just look better in moving color. I do think though that they can make it more complicated on paper because it is more about plot and background than the show has to be. The show moves more fluidly because it is just that; a show.

If I had to choose favorites, I'd have to answer "The Twins! :3"
All of the characters are lovable, and it's hard to choose... Unless you're just picky.
Ouran is the best romance/ comedy/ romantic comedy that I've ever read/watched.
I do, however, hate the voice acting in the English dub of the anime. The Japanese voice acting is much better, and the voices fit the characters EXTREMELY well.

I agree, I think the voices are better in the Japanese version (as they almost always are), but I still love the voice actors in the English dub becuase of their other roles (Vic Mignogna, Travis Willingham, Caitlin Glass, Luci Christian, etc.). Hey, they're basically all in FMA as well... Just realized that! Ah well, even if they're not really suited to this anime, they're great in some other ones.

Eh, their other roles are why I don't like them. When I first heard Vic Mignogna as Tamaki, I thought to myself, "Oh. My. Gosh. When did Ed hit his growth spurt?!".
I agree with you, though. The voice actors ARE great in other animes (Especially in FullMetal Alchemist). ^_^

Yeah, Vic's Tamaki sounds WAY too much like Ed. I think they're much better in dramatic action anime than in something like OHSHC.

lol I love the anime! XD I'm just now reading the manga, and I have to say this is why I like reading the manga first before the anime.
Because it tells more of the story then what the anime might or might not cut out. I really like Hunny, Tamaki and Haruhi XD
Sorry but the twins really, sometimes tick me off with some of the things they do to Tamaki but it's funny still the same. XD
